Holy crap! Was the real owner car jacked or something?

Wait! Wait! It's the copy writer for the 47DB SEA RAY IN THAT BOAT!

Is it possilbe that Sea Ray has been taken over by gangsta's and someone should call the police? Maybe Sea Ray management is being held captive by these guys?! The baseball caps in reverse are the give away here people!

I mean. . . WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?

The first picture of this boat is with four OBVIOUSLY LOSER guys?

This is a $40,000+ boat, right? Nobody in that crowd has that kind of money! I am a bit young to have kids that age. . .but if I did -> They would NOT be getting that boat!

Where are the scantily clad females to lust after?

Totally tone deaf marketting.

Wow, pretty surprising that all the comments are coming from Crusier owners about a sports boat. Could be that the audience they are after is a different crowd than a cruiser owner. Looks like they are going after the crowd that would traditionally buy a mastercraft, ski natique, etc. All of which are going to be north of $50K.

What a surprise I like the boat, would like to see more pictures however.

Dave - where did you find the picture????

Wesley

I had to laugh at the comments ....

It looks exactly like our marina and the young "oilys" with their new made money the last couple of years.

and yes..they are easily spending that much money on their boats and slips. (and if you have daughters.........beware)

http://www.searayimages.com/ Wesley, I like the way the boat looks too. The comments are in reference to SR's choice of "models"

Wesley I think you hit the nail dead on the head, but lets not turn this into a big boat / small boat issue
As to the pictures check out

http://www.searayimages.com/

Side note: You should be able to get the new brochures from your dealer soon. Got one for the Sport Boats and Sport Cruiser at Sea Ray Headquarters Friday. They did not even have them out yet, they had just got them from the printers. Said the dealers should be getting them in a couple weeks.

Sorry Guys looks like it has already been answered before I could post. I guess I type to slow

The boat looks very nice....

The marketing guys should have put some graffiti on that bridge though...

alright guys I get it, this is the first time I have seen the boat and to be honest I was looking at the boat more than the models. I will rely on myself to get the ladies in the boat, not sea ray marketing. :smt043

Here is my take:

First it is one picture, I am sure when they get them on the website they will have the ladies in the boat as well. But I persoanlly think that if Sea Ray is going to try and compete with Mastercraft, Ski Natique, etc they are going to need to get the image of this boat as a true wakeboarder's boat. The guys that are using the boat to go to their favorite spot and hangout with the girls will get the 210 Select not the Fission (which they are marketing as the true wakeboarder's boat). If you have ever watched wakeboarding shows like Pull this looks like a picture right out of the show. The wakeboard pros do not bring their girlfriends/wife along with them when they are out wakeboarding they go out with the boys. Just my humble opinion of the picture.

Gary - I have looked at the mastercraft website several times as a matter of fact, the wife caught me looking at it last night and wanted to know what in the world I was doing. I have always liked their line of boats ever since I was a kid. I probably would have bought one instead of the Sea Ray except for the price tag was a little high for a first boat.

Just thought it was weird that this is the first time (at least for me) we are seeing the boat and people are talking about the guys in the picture instead of the boat!!! Which again I think looks sick (Gary that is a good thing)!!! :smt043

Gary, What are you doing in the "itsy bitsy" boat section anyway? Don't you have a huge mega yacht to be fixing?

Thanks for the links!

Those gangstas appear in the adds for the 290SD as well.

As for the boat. . the shot with the blue courtesy lights is HOT.

Hey thanks for linking those picutes. Sure are some nice boats there. Not too sure I care for the fission, but I'm not really into the ski boat market, now the new 240DA is another story...

First thought of boat.....looks beautiful, graphics need to be yanked off in a damn hurry and why didn't they put better speakers on the tower? I think those are Polk's ok-ish speakers on there which were just on sale from Circuit City for $80 a pair.
