Im willing to pay someone up to $1500 to assist me with souricing parts and manufacturers and upholstery guys to do jobs for me in teh states. So please read through and see if you can help me with my requests and then we can go from there. I am having ZERO luck in Australia with dealers. Bee trying for months.
I am not well health wise and trying to get this boat to tip top shape to leave to my child or my partner to sell if they need the money when i am not here. I hate to say this publicly but its been months of trying to get help with my boat.
So this weekend when powerwashing the ski locker due to it being filthy, i started noticing big patches of gelcoat coming off.
I have now noticed gelcoat is coming off all over the ski locker and also all over the engine bay.
Is this going to cause any harm and if it is, what should i do>? It is having a big repair done with gelcoat cracks on the hull and the guy is looking after me, so should I ask him to respray the ski locker? Or can it just be painted or can it be left? Will it cause water damage?
Anyway, the ski locker was all oilly and A while back the oil pressure switch rusted off dropping all the oil. My dealer told me he cleaned out all the oil, but obviously he has not. I am wondering isd this oil in the water in the bilge and the ski locker is what would of caused the gelcoat to peel off??
I have now cleaned the oil out of the ski locker and have taken photos of under the engine and have noticed there is piles of oil down there. Dealer did a terrible job cleaning this out.
What is worse is that if i lift a cup holder up around the helm I can see the oil residue all the way up there.

So obviously i have to clean this. Does anyone know how i can clean the oil up near the helm when the only way to reach it is through the cup holders?

Does anyone have any ideas how I can clean the oil out under the engine in the bilge? Im having a hard time reaching it.
Because the gelcoat is peeling I am hesitant to put degreaser in their and let it swill around with water.
Does anyone have ideas please?
Also I am posting photos of the $12,000 worth of gelcoat cracking on the hull that was done. Every single repairer said they would not re gelcoat it because they cant match the yellow, except one guy and he is to do this over the next two weeks and while at it he will get the little cracks on the deck sorted.

I thought I hit the wharf that caused this but im told that there is no impact damage so apparently a wave did this damage. The largest chop i was in was about 3ft and i did get airborn at one stage when i suddenly hit it.
No more will this be taken in the harbour. its now a river and lake boat only.
I would love some advice on the cleaning up method. I really want to get that bilge area oil free which It was already suppose t be.

I could not believe my eyes when they would not cover the upholstery in plastic. They sai dit didnt matter cause degreaser would get it right off the upholstery. Does anyone have a friend who is good at making upholstery kits. I would be prepared to send my seat covers anywhere in the world and pay $2500 to have bench seat, sunpad, bench seat back rest and maybe the bucket seats reupholstered, or a bit more to do it all one different colour, white and grey with yellow piping.. They could use my current covers as templates. Here I am being quoted around $6000.

Does anyone know where i can buy some because i cant find anyone that has the template for the 195, only the 185.

Does anyone know a wreckers or anywhere other than greatlakes that sells parts for this boat. If sea ray sold out on these boats it is so hard to believe how hard parts are to come by.
My dealer wont even sell me bucket seats from latyer models because they arent the same on my boat.

Someone stole the wake tower from the dealers while on the boat, leaving the rails for the tower only. Before i have these taken off this week and the holes covered over, I am wondering if anyone knows of a wake tower that I could buy or if any of the ones on great lakes website would fit. Would the 185 version fit on my boat>? I doubt the 205 would
I think the 185 is the same size hull but different size deck. Does anyone know anything here that could help?,

I really feel lost because I cant find help in Australia and there are only two of these boats even for sale over here. Both have V6 engines and want $40,000+ for their boats. Mine is a V8 and the motor is mint and I paid $29,000 AUD.
I think because it is so rare here that I should get it to its best condition because insurance just paid out $13,000 for the gelcoat cracking and the repairer is going to look after me with removing the tower.
Which I would be replacing with the MONSTER MTK in White with over the top bimini.
It would mean the world to me if someone could take the time to assist me with all my questions. I dont want to sell the boat and pass the troubles to someone else as its not fair, so I want to get it in optimum condition but i am stressed out and have a baby nearly due so would appreciate someone helping me so I can not stress over this with child on the way. I got this boat so my kid could grow up on the water.

The funny thing is that he only ever replies to emails to tell me he is busy. Weeks go by and i get another email saying im with my family so will reply when at work, then another week goes by and he will reply saying he is out of the office and will reply when back, then more weeks go by saying he is on holiday and will reply when backl. For four months so far and hes the only sea ray dealer around.
I do have a health issue so am trying to get this in perfect condition so that i can leave it for my son and money is not really a problem when it comes to buying seats.
I think id like snap in carpet color black with the '195 sport' embroided across the back where it meets the bench seat.
Oh, Im also desperat for bench seat coolers if anyone could help by getting a mould of theirs made and then having a pair made for me. I will pay for everything.

Also, can someone tell me if its possible to stop the engine clock when the key is turned on for the lights i have installed?
I have 350 hours but only 1 of them is at WOT, 100 are at 0 to 499 RPM, the rest are all under cruising RPM and about 50 at cruising rpm.
Id love to stop the hours, while being repaired as my mechanic left it on all night. But does that mean replacing the ECU or the gauge? Surely if you unplug the gauge the hours would go up anyway and just show it when you plug it in next. Im not looking to cheat anyone.
