Never had a foaming problem with mine either.

I’ve got the teak pattern with black. The same one that DPVANDY posted pictures of. The only difference is mine has tan sunbrella around the edging and his has black.
I suspect that the foaming could possibly be due to a cleaning product or something since some experienced it and others don’t.
FWIW I just use plain old boat soap. The same stuff I use to wash the rest of the boat. Not sure if that matters.
