Peyton Manning IS the league MVP!

Well the Colts will not be mentioned with the 0-16 Lions!!! :smt038:smt038:smt038

We also still lead in the "Suck for Luck"!!! :smt038:smt038:smt038

And the bubble bursts for my GB. I thought they would lose at least one this season so now it's past and they can get on to the SB without the added pressure. Just hope they saved enough for the end. Lots of players hurt right now.

A+ for the Colts first win. Finally settling into a groove just in time for the last 2 games.

Yep, Caldwell the inept will rally the troops just long enough to ensure that the Colts have no shot at Luck.

It would be long odds for the other teams hoping. Even if the Colts win out, while MN and STL lose, that is just a tie and the tiebreaker is to the team who was beaten by teams with the fewest wins this season. I heard a guy on talk radio (not a Caller) that had calculated out every tie scenario and the Colts win the pick in a squeaker even if they win out. Why not tell us that? Maybe to keep up the drama? MM

Actually, that's not quite right. The all the teams have 2 games left. If the Colts win out, they would be 3-13, leaving Minn and STL at 2-14 assuming they also lose out, which is likely if you look at their remaining games.

The Colts play HOU, JAX

MIN: WAS, CHI

STL: PIT, SFO

So the Colts need to lose one of the next two games. If they win out, most likely they'll be picking 3rd, and be out of Luck.

Now if the Colts lose on Thursday, then they've pretty much clinched the 1st pick in the draft.

My misquote of the situation, yes, they must lose one more to be a lock. MM

I just can't bring myself to want them to lose but feel certain they'll acheive it based on their own merit. Sadly. My sports world is just totally askew. Both purdue and the colts suck and pete rose is still banned from the HoF. damn it.

That is a crime...I grew up with the Reds. Rose, Bench, Morgan, Foster, Perez, Concepcion, Griffey and Geronimo were great fun to watch. Pete should be allowed back in baseball, no question.

yep. '75/76 big red machine...best team ever. life sure was good back in 5th grade.

Life was good in the 5th grade and the Big Red Machine. It is all about the ego of the foks that started this. Charlie Hustle MUST be put in Cooperstown. MM

Same here...I could throw and hit whiffle balls just like each of reds players. from joe morgans hitch, to petes crouch and head first slides, to Fosters twirling black bat and davey concepcions throws from hole that he'd intentionally bounce to perez. Hated the dodgers but remember garvey, cey, russell, yeager like yesteday. I've taken the kids to a few Colts games too but it's my daughter who is the fanatic. She bought a new car last year and it had to be 'Colts blue'. Brought a tear to my eye. It does look like my boy is going to go to purdue next year so I guess I'm doin' ok.

NFL Draft: Tiebreaker chart for top pick updated: 9:49 AM, Dec. 20, 2011

Staff report

The Indianapolis Colts’ magic number for clinching the first pick in the 2012 draft remains two after the Colts (1-13) beat Tennessee and both the Minnesota Vikings (2-12) and the St. Louis Rams (2-12) lost Sunday.
Any combination of Colts losses and Vikings victories equaling two will eliminate Minnesota. Likewise, any combination of Colts losses and Rams victories totaling two will eliminate the Rams.
In the event of a tie, the team with the weaker schedule gets the choice. At this point, that’s the Colts.
The chart above shows the current win-loss record for all of the teams' opponents, including ones they haven't played yet.
San Francisco's victory over Pittsburgh on Monday night made the Colts' strength of schedule slightly worse and St. Louis' slightly stronger.

[h=2]Tom Brady’s new home should accommodate his superstar lifestyle[/h]By MJD

That's the nearly completed new home of Tom Bradyhttp://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5228/news and Gisele Bundchen, according to Boston.com. It's in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles, which is home to many celebrities, even though it hasn't always been kind to football players. Handsome Tom is expected to take his lovely bride and move in there after the season. Some more details on the property:
The couple paid $11 million for the 3.75-acre property, and then many millions more to build the house. When done, it's expected to have eight bedrooms, a covered bridge, six-car garage, elaborate gardens, and a lagoon-shaped swimming pool.
Just to recap NFL quarterback housing news over the past week, pictured above is Tom Brady's new house. Dan Orlovskyhttp://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/7321/news of the Indianapolis Colts, meanwhile, sleeps on Donald Brown's couch. That actually seems about right.
If Tom changes his mind and decides he needs two covered bridges, maybe the Jacksonville Jaguars could move in there.

Who needs Luck, we have Dan the man Orlovsky. Brees, Brady, Rogers and Orlovsky...kinda has a ring to it.

...or maybe not.

First let me say that I love the picure of your boat. Grat lines and bridge area. Second, Are you kidding me? Brady with Brees and Rogers. LOL LOL

Yep, as long as Coach Clueless is behind the helm, we are destined for Luck.

Yep, Caldwell the inept will rally the troops just long enough to ensure that the Colts have no shot at Luck.

Seems like our losers are still losers, now we win to lose the pick!!! You are right!!! MM

I love the airport references...

We grew up going to "The Stick" to watch May, McCovey, Bobby Bonds, Juan, Tito, Perry and more greats. Those were great times and you never heard negative things so we were in awe of these players. ESPN has screwed up childhood dreams....
