If this does not prove once and for all Peyton Manning is the best ever and is still the MVP what would. MVP is always subjective but I doubt a team has ever flamed out this bad with the loss of it's best player. He was/is so good he makes the defence better. They never gave up 62 points in my recollection. MM :smt089 :smt100

Unbelievable. Even great QBs need a front line for protection, running backs and ends to pass to. Then there is the defensive players allowing so many mistaken pick ups. I truly hate it for them. Many teams have great starters this year but just can't seem to make it click. We all know the Vikes are rebuilding but 1-6, please. GB is GB as expected this year so no surprise there. Anything less than their current play and I would be singing the blues like a cat on the wall.

What's your thought on Tebow's second quarter play?

Don’t worry, it’s all part of BP’s plan to get the #1 pick in the draft

Thefact is that they gave Peton too much control of this team including play calling and now thier paying the price. I agree, he is a great QB but they will live and die by him which we are seeing now. Their coach is questionable at best and should be fired. Peyton is near the end of his career and the Colts better wake upo and start preparing for the future or it will a long 10+ years

This supports my main point of Peyton's value. As for giving him too much control of the team, the coaches were quoted saying the Peyton recognises defensive schemes better and quicker than the coaches. If you had that guy wouldn't you want the best making decisions. As for the future, what a question. I would love to hear the private conversations at excutive level. Will they have the best quarterback in history for 5 more years or should the draft the future?????

Why isn't Payton on the sideline calling the plays? It is more than the QB, that makes a team great. But you won't have a great team without a great QB... I vote for Aaron Rodgers for MVP... I don't think GB would be undefeated without Aaron Rodgers...

Tom Brady went down a missed games before and the team didn;t skip a beat. That's because the Pats (no I'm not a Pat's fan) play as a team and they ALL buy into the program unlike the Colts. The Colts D has nothing to do with Peyton and they haven't played well all year. They turned over the reigns before Dungy even left, in my eyes a bad mistake. Peyton is definatly a game changer but they have to start at the top and thats a new Head Coach.

I think they did try that. but it was information overload for Painter. This is not ALL Painter's fault. It is a team but in personal comptetitions the better the player I play with, on my team, the better I play. This defence is built (cheap) to complement a high scoring (expensive) offence on the field, they knew they had weaknesses but Manning masks them much of the time. So Brady clearly is not as valuable to his team as Manning as they can win without Brady. I agree on Rodgers for MVP at thia time but your support is the opposite of mine. You say GB wouldn't be undefeated if it was not for Rodgers. Agreed. Would you agree Colts would be say 5-2 or 4-3 if Manning is under center and could be undefeated? What is the difference? MM

The difference is that you guys had a great run and now it's over. Suck it up, winterize your boat and start drinking by the fire because it will be a long winter for you Indiana boys and girls!

IMHO the qb is only as good as his offensive line and the D s job is to counter the opposing teams offensive line so no team should put all their eggs in one specific person it's the team so if the offensive line can't make the plays that the qb calls and the d can't read the opposing offense then they are screwed time to
Change the floor plan for Indi IMHO

If you know it's over you know something no one else does. Boat is winterized, We got a lot going on this particularly winter. :smt038 What with the first Big 10 football championship along with all the other stuff we normally host, Oh Oh, I almost for got we got a little football game in Feburary called the SUPER BOWL. But I also enjoy a good drink by the fire. MM

The Super Bowl is overrated but we've hosted a few here in Tampa too! Go ILLINI! Can't believe they couldn't beat up on lonely Ohio St but hopefully they can turn it around.

I actually found a Super Bowl event that interested me: Taste of the NFL, a chef from every NFL city makes dishes for this charity event. The bad news is it is for high rollers, $1200 per couple + service fee is a little much for a dinner. Could get a big touch screen GPS for that. MM

Our local Colts Fan Merchandise store just disgiused itself as a porno shop. That way people won't feel ashamed being seen there.

That's why they're overated. Many party and events are for the rich and if your team is not playing than who wants to spend that kind of money when we have boats to spend money on? Watch out, Super Bowls will bring in strippers from across the country and don't be surprised to see normal stroes be converted into strip clubs.

Nearly 40% or 111 million people disagree. Although it would be nice if they put on higher quality events for adults that didn't cost so much. If people wouldn't pay it they would have to reduce it. It is for charity. We have pretty strict zoning laws on where strip clubs could locate. MM

Now back to Peyton for MVP!!!

At least you can be in the hunt for the number 1 pick (Andrew Luck) next year and let him sit behind Manning for a year or two.
