Why do females want to be referred to as "guys" ?
Why do females want to be referred to as "dudes" ?
Call me picky but this is carrying equality too far. It can somtimes be difficult enough to tell a "guy" from a "gal" for various reasons so you "Dudettes" need to use your own gender specific tags to help cut down on this confusion. :)

Oh. where do I start? The list would be shorter if I just told you what doesn't piss me off as I get older and grumpier!
I teach at a community college in northern Ca. I am blessed to work in a department with only three staff total in Aeronautics and we all are right leaning republicans and teach in our own hangar,15 miles from the main campus which is true center for left leaning libertards! I recently resigned from the Academic Senate mainly because the only topics we discussed and created resolutions about was Student Equity and protections for our "law enforcement affected" student cohorts. They used to just be called "Formerly Incarcerated". I am so sick and tired of our society constantly feeling the need to redefine cohort titles to confuse the facts out of some sense of "fairness"!!!

I think my biggest one (in addition to those above) is drivers who seem as if they own the left lane on a freeway and refuse to yield to faster moving traffic that comes up behind them. The law requires that no matter how fast they're driving they must yield to faster moving traffic that approaches them from the rear.

Another one right up there is how our colleges are teaching our young kids that socialism is the way to go. Free Everything. Nobody goes without. You don't have to work hard to succeed. That kind of crap. Oh, and don't worry about the student loan load you accumulate. It'll be taken care of for you.

This whole free everything and the concept that you don't have to work harder than your neighbor is killing this country. It used to be 'keep up with the Joneses'. Now it's 'I hope the Joneses work harder so I can get some of their stuff'

My pet peeve is this pronoun crap. I refuse, and I don't care if they call me whatever, in my book you can never be a they
What if you are ac/dc or have multiple personalities?

How about motorcycle operators who think that the center line is their own private lane?
I see some of these dimwits on youtube. Apparently in some states it's legal but that doesn't make it a good idea. Flying down the center on a 4 lane at 50 MPH while traffic is stopped then surprised when a car changes lanes and cuts them off.

Boats covered with silver or blue poly tarps in the marina. In most marinas the tarps are prohibited. Most of the boats that are covered up are junk and the owner doesn't want to or can't afford to put new canvas up. With in a few years the boat is usually abandoned anyway and becomes the marinas problem to dispose of.

Here is the text from a PM I received Friday night at 9:00PM:

"Frank, Please call me back as soon as possible @ XXX-XXX-XXXX. I have a serious problem I need help with."

I quickly count down my friends who I know are traveling on boats this weekend.....it is a short list, given that it is the last day of January....I have had several PM exchanges over the last couple of years with this particular CSR member, so I call him back. His voice mail picks up and I hear: "Sorry, I'm not taking calls. Leave a number and I'll call back when it is convenient for me".

So it is ok for me to take time away from my family and friends to try to help him but he is too busy to get the help he sounded desperate for?

He's still waiting................

Does anyone live near a roundabout? A new one was just built on my commute and it saves me 3-7 minutes every day. I love it. The area has had them for over 2 decades, but somehow only about 20% of drivers seem to have a clue.

My two favorites recently:

Someone behind the guy next to me honked as we waited for the cars already in the roundabout (who have the right-of-way). If they had honked at ME, I'm concerned that I'd have a hard time resisting the urge to put my car in park and walk back for a quick talk about how roundabouts work... #FutureRoadRageVictim

Saw a car enter the roundabout going at least 50 mph, and then accelerate (loudly) on his way through.

Healthy individuals that run around and choose to pack away others belongings over getting a job. Pet peeve is an understatement.

My current pet peeve?....

Whatever happen to calling grandparents Grandma and Grandpa? The millennials all seem to think we need cutesy alternatives. I've always been OK with Grandpa Shawn or Grandma Amy but now we have Popop, Mimi, Mimsy, Meemaw, Momee, Pop, Boompa, etc.
