I'm only posting this thread as a record for any future searches about any PerfectPass problems.
The discrepancy is that the system just wasnt controlling the speed of my boat....at all! The system was installed by MM, I took it back there on three seperate occasions, nothing! No idea. Actually they told me that it was fixed each time, it was not.
So the problem ended up being linked to the cable that the PerfectPass servo uses to control the throttle body. As you'll see in the first picture, the cable droops down right at the "U" joint. It shouldnt.....it should be straight. MM installed it incorrectly, now there's a kink in the cable that I need to get fixed.
The kink wasnt allowing the cable to break free from the "U" joint, it was causing the cable to just bunch up right at the servo motor knob(pictured).
