Hi all. Im new to this forum. I just purchased a 2005 185 sport. Just wondering where to buy oem parts. I found parts manual and i dealer in my area. I was wondering if there is any online places to buy factory sea ray parts.

Generally, the only source for OEM parts for the boat itself is a Sea Ray dealer. The source listed above is owned by Flounder Pounder Marine wiich is a marine surplus buyer and reseller. They are in Florida near Sea Ray so they tend to have a lot of Sea Ray and Whaler items, but you usually cannot order by part number and have to be lucky to find just what you need.
Engine system related items are avaiiable by Mercruiser part number from any number of Mercruiser dealers that have an online presence.
Then there are all the various vendor supplied items on the boat that neither Sea Ray nor Mercruiser manufactures.........switches, hinges, latches, locks, lighting, pumps, air conditioning, head systems, etc. Take the part off and look for the mfg's name and maybe a part number.
All this may may seem confusing to a new boat owner, but some of us have had these boats a long time and know pretty much where to go for what, so you might try posting what you need here and I'd bet somebody has had to find a source in the past for just what you need.
