would anyone know where to find parts that are no longer manufactured by sea ray?
I need Sea Ray part # 1689287 which is the stern port vent cover and part of the deck

There was a Marinemax that made a mold and was producing them, possibly in MD. They use to sell them on ebay, but haven't seen one recently. They were fairly proud of them at somewhere around $880-$1000 each. Not sure if they are still in business and/or still producing. As far as I know, you cannot get one anywhere else. The gelcoat guy at the local Searay dealer told me that if I could get my hands on two of them that it would be a good future investment for the boat. Never felt like spending $2k on something I hopefully will never need.

Thanks
Someone else told me about Tom Turner in MD - sad he had the mold - I've reached out to him
Rather ridiculous searay doesn't offer a replacement part!!

Hmm... Tom Turner is with Clarks Landing. Perhaps I was confused about who had the mold, but I am pretty sure it was Marine max that was listing them on ebay.

I have been told that SeaRay destroys all molds a few years after production. Seems like maybe they could pass them on to an outside vendor if they didn't feel like storing them.
