Part needed

Need the latch assembly but really the spring loaded deal that catches and releases the cockpit to cabin to door (see thumbnail).
Sea Ray part number is 1322213. Marine Max=no, Flounder Pounder=no, No on Ebay and Craiglist.

Does anyone have contact to where some may have this on the shelf or in a boat salvage yard (I don't know of any of those).

If it is only the rod thay you need, and similar to mine, you should be able to make one from brass rod and two plastic tipsor rubber bumpers. The spring action comes from the latch mechanism. Rod and other should be available at hardware store.

I know this is a year old, but it happened to us this past Saturday. The release rod tip was accidentally broken off. I went to Lowe's and bought a dryer vent flexible cleaning rod. It is a perfect fit, 3/8". I then went to my local hardware store, and found a circlip (Jesus Clip) that would go around about a 1/4" rod. I used my copper tubing pipe cutter to make a grove in the nylon rod. When I get back to the boat, I will cut everything to length.
