Pandora, Spotify, SiriusXM, Amazon Music, etc. which do you use and why?

What's odd is since I subscribed again (I had it when it first came out) I am getting all kinds of email offers from SirusXM. It's as if they have no idea I just subscribed, again.

You can log on and change your email pref's. I get hardly any email from them.

I had DTv for years and it worked great. teh only issue now is if you don't already have service only HDTV service is available and the equipment for that is very expensive.

Your much better off getting StarLink sat service and streaming YouTubeTv.

I've had DirecTv for years as well. Including the KVH HD7 upgrade for high def. But that wasn't the point of the question. The question was specifically related to DirecTv as a source of music on the boat. I have used DirecTv for TV since the 90's, just never think to use it as a music streaming platform.

Pandora fan at home because it’s free. Use Sirius in the wife’s car because she likes it. Used Sirius on the boat because of convenience and also for the NEXRAD radar and wether maps. Our home stereo set up can do them all including records, cds, dvds.

Sorry didn't get that from that post. But to answer your question I was not impressed with "Much Music" and the 100 or so channels that offered. It really didn't hold a candle to Sirius and I am not a big fan of Sirius but wouldn't be with out it. Pandora (premium-no commercials) and Spotify are my goto's.

XM for the cars, and then I can stream it on the boat via BT for news and info. For music, I prefer to own it, so I have a collection of digital songs that I've accumulated over the years.

I am a big YouTubeTv Fan.... we are staying at my daughters while our house is being finished built..... they have Hulu..... wholly crap.....you would think the Hulu people would look at their competition.... How they think their software is better is astounding

Painting inside the house all day today gave me a chance to listen for an extended period. Listened to a 70s, 80, 90s with the Misses. I kind of get it now.

Your not kidding, HULU for Tv is complete crap. I tried it for a month and thank god for YTv,

I watched a bit ….. it was like watching paint dry
Actually go to it once and you'll maybe have a different opinion. I went 3 times while I was living on that side of the state. Stay til about 9, go home and sleep a few hours and head back and watch the last 6 hours or so. This is the best time of the year for racing in Florida. Rolex, 500, World of Outlaws in Barberville. NHRA in Gainesville, NMRA and NMCA first drag races of the season. Used to be in Bradenton, now Bithlo (Orlando). Been to them all.

NASCAR I have been to every major track on the east coast…. So many stories…. Favorites are pocono, Bristol and taladega and of course Indy….. I have been on all three on a motorcycle …except Bristol ….. this summer I am taking my son on an all day Lexus day on the Indianapolis speedway….. where you race in their cars….. that stuff I love
