I want to see how many of these 22ft Muscle Boats are around and what they look like. What motor and anything about the 22p. This is mine 1988 and it has a 454 Big Block Chevy.

Sweet ride! Last weekend I saw a Pachanga 19, I believe. Probably late 80s as well. I had always thought the 22 was the shortest they made.

I came very close to buying one just like that about 10 years ago. Nice boat!

Do you know how many Alpha's it's been through? Or at least the last time it was changed?

What year did they stop making the Pachanga? I always loved the look of that boat.

The last year I ever knew of was 1990. Then they only made the 27 and 32 I think. I too have always loved these boats as well. A buddy of mine has an 89 32 with ac/heat strong boat runs great through the chop. I had a chance to run a 19 once with the 4.3 and it was a quick little boat. I have seen some people put a 350 in them. Can't imagine how fast that thing would be. Definately a boat way ahead of its time.

yay I get to harass CSR with more pictures of my Pachanga:smt038:lol:. 91 was actually the last year  been in love with Pachangas since they came out in 86 (I was 8 yrs old). here is mine, I'm running a warmed over 350 in mine, running a 21p Mirage best was 61mph on GPS. I've thought countless times about tweaking the power but running WOT on Lake Erie chop is sort of rare anyways, and honestly I use it more for taking the neices and nephews skiing and tubing now. like any muscle car it's mostly about the look, the noise, and the ride but I love it. everytime I think I should sell it, a stranger will come up to me to compliment it, and then suddenly I find myself changing my mind.

the funny part.....I don't have any kids of my own!! just a bunch of neices and nephews. 7 of which absolutely love the water. I feel it's my responsibility as their only uncle with a boat, to spoil'em rotten with sand, sun & sea:grin:

Yea you might be right there......or you could buy them drumsets and tell them to start a band.....

well I took off my sun pad today and look what I found. I'm going to cheat and qucik fix for under 40$, its getting a new interior in the fall.

yikes! be sure to throw some varnash or some resin on the new piece. that way you won't be redoing it a second time.
