Happy Fourth of July Weekend (almost) !

I am thinking of overnighting next week at Atlantique next week (see http://www.theislips.com/atlantique.php).

Does anyone know offhand how this works for non-Town of Islip residents and the cost? I think that I can only go between Monday and Thursday (need to leave Friday).

I need water and electric. Can I get/book a reservation at the marina? Can we bring bikes? Places to eat?

Thanks,

Rocco

A bunch of years back I stayed at Atlantique during the week. They were cool with me staying, but I was also with a group of residents and most of the marina was empty.

Tobay has a similar, 'Oyster Bay resident' has first priority policy. I tried to secure a spot during THIS week (Tuesday--> Thursday) and was turned down due to the 4th. They anticipate full marina (residents).

Give them a call, worth a shot.

Update:

I called this past Friday moring and was told "lots of slips available". I then told them that I was a non-resident but that I was told last week to call ahead and that they'd give me a slip unless a resident wanted one and they were full (I would be asked to leave at that time).

I was then told by the teenager who answered the phone "Oh, in that case, we can't give you a slip since we consider Friday a weekend and we fill up over the weekend."

I went to Watch Hill instead and shared C-24 with the mosquitoes. We had a great 3 days!

I can't wait for Sailor's Haven to reopen............
