outdrive wont go down help!

Launched the boat for the fisrt time this year got in the water and the out drive wont go down The trim motor makes the usual noise when activated but nothing,It dose die out after 15 or 20 seconds,checked fluid,ok,any thoughts on what to check or do.Thanks rick

There is a manual release valve on the pump. open it and let the drive drain down. may need a little help. then give it a check.

Also if it all the way up, try using the tilt and not the trim.
