outdrive position gauge ??????

outdrive position gauge(up or down) works when i start boat then while uinderway when i adjust drive up or down needle goes to full down. drive itself is moving. what wrong with the gauge????:huh:

They are poorly designed junk. I bought new trim limit and trim senders last year and they still don't work right. I don't really need them and will not waste anymore time or money on it.
