Outdrive not going down

I have a 2008 Sea Ray Sundancer 280 with 2 engines. I am new to boating so any help is appreciated. I am a disabled veteran so manuverbilty is limited. My starboard outdrive went up when i trailered it home but now it won’t go back down at all. When I press the switch to go down I can hear a click but that’s about it. Can someone provide information on what the best course of action would be and please send pictures of where I need to look

Have someone jump the down solenoid - most likely the only problem is a failing solenoid. They fail to the point where even though they make a click sound, they don't pass enough amperage. If jumping the solenoid works, replace the solenoid for about $25 (replace all 4 while you're at it).

I don't have any pictures, but it's easy enough to google for information about this. But anyone that's done simple electrical work can help you do the check/replacement.

I had to clean the switch last week. Up worked, down didn't. I wasn't getting a click, I was getting nothing.
