I am imagining the scene in my mind's eye....and it's awesome.

Quint you (3 guys on bow) are looking in the wrong direction...his boat is behind your raft up.

Ok, I guess I didn't upload the picture correctly! Let's try this again!

How you liking the boat?

Two helm stations?

We're loving it! Made the trip from Cape Coral with no issues, ecept waking up in southern Louisiana on the hard! :) Couldn't make it to the marina due to heavy fog so pulled up to an old dock for the night but forgot to check the tides!

The layout is exactly what we had been looking for, centerline aft master, forward stateroom and dual heads. Salon is very nice size for this size hull.

No, single helm on bridge, it's enclosed, so which works well in the south.

Still pretty sweet. What are your cruize speed and wot rpm?

Cruise speed is 18 kts at 2300, WOT is 2750 but the tach readings are suspect. I'll be working on them soon, will probably change out for digital tachs.

Do you think she rides stern-heavy? I wonder how much better she would perform with larger tabs. My neighbors have a 410 with small diesels. She just doesn't seem to get the stern up like I think she should, yet her cruising speed isn't much different than yours. They don't use the water tank. If they did, I suspect that could knock another knot or two of their cruising speed.

I've always been curious about what larger tabs and/or extended running surface could do.

Sorry, Roller Coastr, haven't had a chance to check the forum for a while.

We played with the trim tabs quite a bit on the trip to Galveston, it definitely helped to unload the engines, we would get an extra couple of mph at the same rpm. It didn't seem to affect the running angle significantly though, so larger tabs may help. I'll be taking pictures this summer of the hull on plane to see how it looks from another boat.
