Just traded up from 16' aluminum fishing boat. I plan on splitting its time between cruising to the islands in Western Lake Erie with my wife and new daughter and hammering the walleye with father and friends. I just wish the bottom wasn't painted, looks ugly on the trailer.

See you at the Bay next Summer. It's gonna be a long winter waiting to get the Boats back in the water. Trust me you want that bottom paint. You won't see it when it is in the water and believe me the crap that grow on the bottom is much easier to remove wit hthe paint on there

Very nice looking. That thing was really
well taken care of. Hmm! I wonder why I like the 88 colors. Hope you enjoy your new boat.

:thumbsup:Your boat is beautiful and the perfect boat for Lake Erie. I went a similar route as you did. 14 ft fishing boat, 16 ft fishing boat, 20 ft Sea Ray, 22 ft Sea Ray, then in 1988 I bought a 24ft Sea Ray Sorrento, which I dearly miss. I moved all the way up to a 31 Dancer and started working my way back down (due to the economy). Now I'm back down to a 24ft Sea Ray Laguna. The 24-25ft length with an 8.6 beam seems to handle the great lakes with no problem. I hope you enjoy the ride. As soon as business is better I will be climbing up again, size to be determined:smt038
