Great stuff! Thanks for posting, especially liked the video of Deception Pass, took us back to the years we spent up there when my husband worked in Boeing and our children were younger. We just loved our time up there. Beautiful country

I also grew up boating in those same waters with my siblings and cousins. I now have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and I just bought my first family friendly boat. I have owned a 18' Olympic fishing boat for the past 12 years that my wife won't go out on due to no toilet. We just bought a 1998 230 Overnighter which we immediately took to Lake Chelan for a week. Now it's time to get it out on the Sound. I see you had a 230 also. Any tips? Thanks for the pictures of your trip. Brings back great memories I hope to share with my kids.

Yes. the 230OV was a great boat. We packed all the kids and us on it, because that's what we had.


We took it each year up to Canada for a week.

I guess the point is, just go use it. They handle the water very well. It's a very stable boat. Send me a PM and we can hook up out there. We go frequently.
