Anyone have any idea what my boat would have cost new back in 1989? 270 Amberjack. I was talking to some friends and I actually do not know this is my first run in with a boat like this.

I can tell you that in '99, the "real" price (not retail) of my 260DA (roughly similar to a 270 AJ) was about $60. I can't remember back as far as '89 ;)

Our 1986 250DA was $27k new. I bought it from the original owner and he had the original paperwork. Not the same boat but throwin' it out there.

I found the original sales receipt in my owner packet of my 1989 300DA. First owner paid $91,000 and change for it

Go to NADA online, you input year, model, etc. but you also input the options. You get original MSRP as well as current high and low retail value for your boat now. It will also give the value of your trailer.
