What did you guys do with your old flat screen TVs I’m sitting on mine and I can’t get rid of them and they work perfect just curious to see did you guys just trash and I was there someplace you can get rid of them

My town has several e-waste recycling collection days per year. I save my stuff and drop it off at a drive up collection center. My library does it too. They take anything electronic.

We have a town throw away day every spring. While something like that won't get picked up by the trash providers, the scavengers would probably take it before you could set it down.

Mine all worked and I gave them to our local thrift shop that supplements school funding.

I have one left in the berth of mine. I'll replace it at some point. It'll just get set out on the curb on trash collection day.

I kept the one in the aft cabin , I use a HDMI CABLE and the grand kids watch movies on it from my phone !

Our HOA has a giant garage sale on one day of the year. My only two items we’re an old Sony flatscreen that I sold for $25 and a Hoover vacuum that sold for the same price.

If they work fine, why get rid of them?

In my town its illegal to throw them in the trash. They must go to a recycling center. Some towns have those centers, and even Best Buy has one as well.

If you put it on the curb, even the scavengers won't take it.

But again, if it works, put it in the basement or garage and watch it when you're doing chores.

U have to set in on the curb as for sale. Put a price on it and it will be gone.

Best Buy takes computers and monitors. I'm thinking they would take TVs too

They take the flat screen TVs they will only take two at a time and it’s $29 for each I believe to get rid of them

I put ours(and the remotes) in one of the bath houses at our marina with a sticky note that said "free, works" and they were gone w/in a hour.
