Old Top Cleaning?

I have an old canvas (correction...white vinyl) that is not in bad shape, it just has a yellow/brown shade to it. Is thier any way to get the canvas white again?

Thanks,

Automotive whitewall cleaner or kerosene. Follow up with a good multi-purpose cleaner/degreaser. Follow with soapy water. Follow with vinyl protectant.

Good luck! If they are in bad shape you might want to just recover them.
When i replaced mine i tried everything on them and NOTHING would get the old mildew and mold off of them at least not as white as i wanted them.

There is a marine Mildew remover also in a blue bottle i believe i picked it up at Wally World and it worked the best! I also tried Bleech but that didnt work very well at all.

I had an old fish & ski w/a white vinyl top. As Lazy Daze said use some Westley's bleach white tire cleaner & a soft bristle scrub brush on it. Make sure you rinse it thoroughly.

I filled the bath tub up with warm water and added some bleach and let it soak in there for a little while and it came out very clean. just a thought
