Ok, We named the boat!

We finally came up with the name "Everything's Irie". My wife and I we're married in Jamacia and they kept telling us everthing's irie which means life is good, or everthings ok, at peace. So there you have it. It's being registered with the CG and the name is being printed.Thanks for all the suggestions!

Rut roh, somebody best be buyin' some sparking wine....... Good job on the name. I pass a busted-up broke down ol tub several time a week named "Erie Feelings" must have been an old nothern Ohio boat. My rig was/is named "Sea Pie" and so shall it be refered to as until spring when she gets re-stickered and cerrimoniously renamed "Jimi Thing II". Read the thread on re-naming it's gonna be a hoot at the dock but as with 90% of my dock mates I'll insist on sparkling wine rather than Champgne (no cash to the US hatin' Frogs if I can help it) hope this doesn't offend Neptune and the 4-wind brothers

Ok I see. However, we're not renaming. This is a new boat. Our old boat was Medicinal Porpoises (240SD). Our new one is now Everything's Irie(290DA).

It was previously owned. However the previous owner bought it at the boat show in Jan 07 and only used it a few times before trading up and never named it.

It's not easy to come with one you like. We just kept throwing names out until one stuck. We were determined to come up with one before the season began.

Now you need to go through the User Name Re-naming ceremony. I couldn't edit mine so I went from Nehalennia II to Nehalennia as my sign on, so when IV comes I'll just leave it. I lost all my Nehalennia II posts, but that's OK.
You're only a 65....maybe Admin can do it without losing your posts?
