I was wondering the same, were we suppose to be nice? Funny thing is I didn't get to order one cause I joined after it was said and done, but I'd like to have one. But I'm still willing to complain if it will help either get them or the money back.
 
Amazingly I just received a reply from sales@yachtflag.com and was told there was no such order placed. :smt101

Definitly sounds like this guy is trying to rip you Jim and the members that order flags.

I just got back an almost exact clone of the email I got a few weeks ago "half the flags will ship next week, and the other half the next week, blah blah , blah. At least our collective efforts have solicited a response from them.
 
Yea if all 1600 members emailed their sales department I can see wehere they might pay attention :lol:

Hi Mike,

As stated in an email today to Jim, the burgees are finally in production. Half of the order is scheduled to be completed and shipped next week with the balance completed and shipped the following week. I apologize to you and your members for taking so long with the order. There were some serious production issues going on around here that have been corrected and production is running at full speed again. Despite taking so long, you will be getting the highest quality burgee available today and I am sure you will be very pleased with them.

If I were you guys, I would ask him to email you a picture of a completed flag.................that way you will know for sure if this guy is honest or not. :wink:
 
Are we doing calendars this year? :grin: I didn't even order a burgee (thank goodness) but I'm still upset for you all. I'm sending an E-mail.
 
I got the same reply Mike and Jim got. HAlf will ship soon and then the other half in a couple of weeks.

Like Morpheus, I joined after the initial order was placed.

Jim, were extras ordered? Can we still place orders for them? Or do we have to wait for a second shipment?

Would love to fly the colors here in Ohio!

Wait for a second shipment? The first one is over 2 months late. If you hurry you might have one by Summer 2008 :smt021 I think you better wait until an order is placed with a reputable company...not yachtflag.com
 
Email sent we shall see what there reply is. Ya'll were too nice in your letters. I even used spell check and formated the letter instead of my usual style.

Telephone tomorrow.

I would refuse to accept the order unless the work is delivered complete. We do not accept partial orders at work as the second half of the order usually fails to show. Some where someone said the logo is being displayed on the companies website. the logo should come down.
 
The telephone message I left this morning wasn't all that nice. He never returned my call. Everyone emailing him was perfect. I told him on the voice mail that we were all going to pursue him. :lol:
 
we should continue until boxes arrive.
