I am a lurker...

That's right, I said it. I have been lurking. :smt089

I SOLD Amber J and I have been hanging around here for the past few weeks without a Sea Ray!

I was getting ready to say something about the time Nehalennia II's posted about selling his and I just couldn't do it! I don't know as many of you guys lately but I have been around since the first of the SRO Board. Now my time has come.
Luckly for me I have found and will soon post "The lost photos of P.C. Get Together" . These include but aren't limited to head shots of Mr. Frank W! At least I will be good for something around here. I have been looking for my boat to show up with a new owner on the board but I haven't seen her yet. Maybe she's here and I missed it. Anyway, all I have now is an SUV full of my old gear and a bunch of pictures.

I'm not going to be that easy to get rid of but I would sincerly like to that all of the people who have helped me through the years. These two Boards have been an invaluable source of education and entertainment since their beginnings. Not to mention the people who I have had the priviledge of meeting in person and am proud to call them my Friends.

The Sea Ray crowd is a good one...

Dave,

Congratulation on the sale. She sure was a beauty, but wait who is going to catch the fish for the next get together??? Congratulation again.

Wesley

Thanks guys...
I will still bring the fish if you guys will have me. I have a 26 Center Console with twin 200 Honda motors for now. That is for the calmer days and I jump in with a buddy on his custom Jupiter 31 the rest of the time. I suspect Lisa will only have this arrangement for a while. At that point, Lord willing, I will probably take FrankW big boat shopping with me.
I have to admit, a garden sprayer full of degreaser & clorox with a stiff brush cleans fish guts out of the CC a bit quicker than the ritual on the AJ!

David

We know you are an ardent fisherman and the center console probably is a very good choice. Did Frank help you locate it after you threatened to use his 450DA for fishing? :smt043

And we want you around the board too. You have made many valuable contributions over the years with your boating knowledge. Besides we need both you and Richard around to keep Frank in line..............if that's even possible.

Booo hisssss boooo

Should of got a 310 or 320DA with the Sportsman package on it

(just giving ya a hard time)

I got real close on the first 34 off the line with a fishing package. It had a one of a kind top that they didn't mass produce. That thing was awesome. I put so many hours on a boat it is crazy for me to have a Sea Ray to fish from. I can drive and fish from a CC (at the same time) so a Sea Ray really won't work for what I am doing right now. We fish reefs and typically hold over a spot in reverse like charter boats do. The only problem is the Captain doesn't get to fish and the hour meter is spinning like crazy.
My wife is enjoying work right now but as she get that out of her system she will probably want "Something pretty like Frank's boat".

Dave,
Not sure if I should say congratulation on the sale or not, but I'm sure the CC will workout great for your fishing. It was interesting hearing you talk it at Dinner. I'm sure Frank will take you out on his just to keep the SeaRay blood flowing    Hope to see you again at the next CSR PCB get together. Still waiting to see your pictures.
