I own a 1993 370 with twin 5.7 Mercruisers that I am having an issue with. I recently replaced the impeller on the port engine to solve an transmission overheating issue. I have since noticed the oil pressure light is lighting up but it is barely noticeable. However this does put the engine in shut down mode and the engine cannot be cranked until its completely cooled down. I have checked the engine oil and the level is OK. Is this light trying to tell me I have an oil pressure issue or a oil cooling issue. Any help would be helpful.
