I have a 1987 sea ray seville I noticed oil in the engin compartment . I tried the bilge pump but to no avail . I found out the fuse was blown . I replaced the fuse and it blew again. Where could this oil be coming from? and could the fuse blowing be caused by the oil spill?

The more viscous oil could certainly blow the bilge fuse. Where have you checked for the oil leak? Could be many things from the oil pan to the trim tab reservoir to the trim and drive oil. Have you checked to see if any of those oil levels are low? Black oil would most likely be from the engine.

I only took a visual of the engine compartment and could not see anything leaking. I am very new at this and do not know where to start looking. I did notice a hose that was not connected to anything. I will start there, but after that I am lost. The engine is a 350 chevy . Could it be a hoses that oil runs through ?

Check your oil level and report back. Also, turn the engine on and see if oil is coming out of that hose, might want to put a bucket under it first though. Just keep your hands away from those belts
