Oil change prior to running 35mi for Winter

Hi all,

Is there any problem with doing the fall oil change prior to running the boat 35miles to where it will be stored (Indoor heated)?

What about the Cool fuel filters replacement, at least the water separating one?

Generator?
Transmission fluid?

Just trying to get as much out of the way on my own rather than the marina getting to charge me for it - but the marina is 35 miles away on the water.

I change my oil every 100 to 125 hours. If I do not get to 100 before the boat goes away for the winter I do the next year when I get to 100+ hours. I put my boat away with 60 hours on this oil change. I will change it next year when I get to 100+ hours. Seems to be OK each spring/

I'd do everything I could before delivery...why wouldn't you ?
