Happy Birthday Bud! Projects looking great! Man those Azimuts are sexy!

Thanks all for the birthday wishes ..

Well happy birthday! Quick question. What is the power supply/chArger for?

The purpose of the power supply was so I don't have to rely in any way on the house or starting system. I have a dedicated battery for the new stereo so I don't have to deal with dimming lights or drained battereies. The power supply also keeps the battery at 13.x volts at all times and if I am really pushing the tunes for a long time the power supply will bump the voltage to 14.x volts. I could have run the amp off the power supply alone but needed the battery for when out on the hook. It is a little excessive I know but from my car stereo days I have OCD when it comes to dimming lights and dead batteries. I am excited to see if the power supply meets my expectations.

Great idea Jason

Great idea Jason

Thank you, I'll report what I find back to everyone. I know many of the competition guys use these to buffer the system for long runs. I just wanted a way to use the 120v for the amp instead of relying solely on a battery system.

Well let me say that this has been one of the toughest installs I have done to date! Started with having to replace my duck bills right off the bat on Friday! Ugh...

Also, if you don't have a set of these go out and get a set!

Grabit Pro! Works like a charm on SS screws that the heads are stripped out!

The battery and breaker are installed and cleaned up!

Power supply / charger is installed and cleaned up!

Amp is in and wires cleaned up!

12v display and breaker is connected to the new 12v system!

I have been looking for the covers for my arch for awhile. Thanks to marine max I got some not a perfect match but they will work great!

Here's some info I will share on the thread I started about them!

So I mounted the new cover.

I also had made a cute out template on a laser at work to cute a hole in the center of the cover.

This is where the tweeters will mount.

Finished product...

I still have to run new 12ga speaker wire to all of the speakers and install the 10" sub. Also need to install the new Garmin 741xs with the Standard Horizon VHF but we are slowly making progress. I will be back to the boat Thursday am to start again. I am hoping to finish up this weekend as I have boating to do!

Thanks everyone. I like lots of pics cause it gives me ideas... The 741xs is in store so we're ready to button this baby up!

Just got me to order a set of M770-CCS-SG-WH speakers. The tweeters will work perfect as the PO put separate tweeters on my arch and I want new speakers in them. Most marine speakers don't come as component with crossovers. Thanks for posting the photo of these tweeters!

Ken, glad to help! You will love the 7.7s. Fyi, I didn't have much space behind my covers so hard to get different mounting bolts as the ones that came with the tweeters are crazy long.

Thanks guys, I do hope it helps someone else or gives them a few ideas.
