Official 60 SR600 resto w/pics

Thanks guys
Short the sea trial...she is done and ready
Found a bolt on the trailer that was nearly worn in two during the final lookover
it is New now

Great job! What a beautiful boat. Your vision is incredible to bring the project to life. Enjoy the celebration and be very proud of what you have accomplished.

Had a little tongue weight issue to work out
It didn't have any....
the point of balance was perfectly neutral
so got that figured out and fixed last nite
should pull great now

I'm not at 60/40 but it pulled good anyway
the way I fixed it was ...
I took a 25lb Weider steel weight from a buddy's barbell set....
cut a notch in the edge...
painted it glossy white...
bought a 5/8" grade 8 bolt and poly lock nut...
and bolted it inside the rim of the spare tire
works great and you really don't notice it is even there :smt043

now the question comes...
for the trip to Knoxville...
Roll down with the road cover on to keep her clean
or run with it off and watch people stare at it

I would cover but only if you can guarantee that it won't be flapping in the wind an damage your fine shine.

Looks great - let people stare. You don't have to worry about any wind /cover damage then too. Small and easy enough to polish up once you on-site.
Have Fun !

Leaving tomorrow (Wed.) for the Homecoming. Looking forward to seeing your boat. Have a safe trip. I'll be coming down I-75 from Mi. and I'll be the one taking my time!

"most unique" ...what does it mean??? :smt013 You should have got a prize for the restoration only!

Anyway, you should be proud of your vintage beauty and thak you for the report!

Jim, it looks absolutely fabulous. Congrats on the win, which was well-deserved! You must be very proud of how it came out.

I hope you do post a few more pictures of it in the water. I'd love to see her with some spray coming off the bow.

Well done.
