Official 510 DA Owners Group

Working on this project now...several 110 only refrigerators available for around a $1000 Refitting the door trim , getting old one out /new one in is only holdup. lol
I just went through this, I searched and found a replacement that would require taking the upholstery off of one side of the door opening. I took a sawzall and trimmed the old fridge to it would fit through the opening. The replacement fridge is a Haier 9.8-cu ft Model #HA10TG21SB. I am working with a local cabinet carpentry place to make new panels.

Does anyone by chance have a lower fridge panel in maple?

Good Afternoon CSR 510 members. I am finally able to be a part of this forum as I am moving up from the 460 thread.

The paperwork is done on the purchase of the 510 and the sale of my 460. Only waiting on the survey Monday for the 510, then we are good to go. We found an absolute beauty and it is our dream boat. The best part is that we were able to finalize the deal on my wife's birthday Wednesday AND the 510 is currently in my harbor...no long trips to see it or bring it back home. A more perfect scenario there could not be!!

I have read the entire thread and now ready to learn more over the coming months and years from all the great members.
Congrats! I just sold our 460 and purchased a 510 as well!

Congrats as well. Which 510 did you get down there?
The one I purchased was not on market, it was someone at our marina a few slips down. I mentioned that I would be interested in buying it when he was ready to sell.

Good for you. Was it at Keenan Marine? Austin told me that another one sold that never hit the market. We viewed the 460 that was 2 slips down from the 580 Sedan Bridge, "Bear Necessity", but we were a couple days too late.

Yes it was at Keenan, he may be referring to the one I purchased. You must have looked at "Christiana"

That is one of the fridge options I looked at, as well. Cool to see it in place. I was able to find some details on the factory fridge; it's actually a 12.1 cu GE unit with larger all around dimensions than that Haier unit. Sea Ray must have put the factory refrigerator in place prior to sealing the deck on, given the salon door width constraints. It makes it very difficult to replace that original fridge.

Hi All,
What is the secret to popping these lights out to replace the bulbs? I didn't want to start prying at it too hard and thought the experienced people here could direct me before I broke something. :)
Thank you

If they are like my cockpit lights, the SS (or chrome) ring unscrews and that allows access to screws that hold the lens cover in place...

Thanks for the support, took care of this last night!

New question: Has anyone replaced the vent window gasket on their 510? If yes, do you have the part number? I did this on my 460 a couple years back and I do have that part number, I just can't tell if the 510 vent window is the same size or larger than the 460's. Taylor Made Systems was recently purchased by Lippert and they don't have the records going this far back, but they can get the part if I provide windshield part numbers. TIA

this site has always been my first stop when looking for part numbers: https://manualzz.com/doc/53333634/sea-ray-2000-510-sundancer-parts-manual

hey all - i have a fuel tank question. my 510 is new to me this season and it appears the previous owner exclusively used the middle (300 gallon) tank and left the port and starboard (150 gal) tanks empty and unused. both gauges read as empty and i have no idea how long they've been that way. do you guys have any advice/ guidance on steps or best practices to "prime" these tanks for use? do they need to be cleaned at all somehow? additives added? or is it just a matter of filling them up and letting her rip?

Just in time for the Labor Day weekend. It arrived Friday after lunch and was installed before happy hour! A great way to kickoff the celebration.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find this cockpit return air grill? It fits the 510 and 540/550 configuration. I know it is probably a long shot, but thought I might as well ask.

Another project checked off on the new to me 510. Added a shore power inlet at the bow. Over the winter my fiberglass team will modify the hatch cover to allow it to close. We are down to our last 10 days before we put her on the hard!

We also were able to get the 12k cockpit AC replaced this week. The old Dometic had a leak in the reversing valve and it was simpler to just replace it. We went with a CTM 12k and it fit perfectly under the seat. We ordered it from Tampabaymarineair.com and Wayne was a huge help. This is the quietest self contained AC unit I have ever seen.(heard) My wife asked me to turn it on last night...twice! I turned it on and a few minutes later she asked again to which I replied, "It is on". She couldn't believe it. No sound at all. She then said, can we replace the other one with that model. LOL

Anyway, a great week on the 510!
Have a great weekend all.
