I gotta say, I love this boat. Still working on a few little things but over all this boat kicks ass. Had 8 of us on there today and still had plenty of room. Quick ride to water front restaurant and it was pure bliss.
 
Is there a recommended replacement refrigerator for the galley? Most of the posts were 4-5 years old was wanted to see if there was an updated solution.

If you have the side by side freezer and refrigerator, the OEM ones were 6.1 cu.ft. Marvel. I am told that the exact model is no longer produced, however, Marvel sells the same unit with a glass door and a digital thermostat to the medical industry for drug/medicine and laboratory applications. If that approach doesn't work for you then you will just have to find a commercial freezer/refrigerator that fits the cutout under the galley counter.
 
Good advice. Thanks. Replaced the refrigerator today, the forward one. Is the other one a freezer? Are they identical units? Maybe one is freezer other refrigerator?

Ok, next question. Any tricks to replacing the hot water heater? Looks like it come out to the front of the engine? Remove exhaust elbow and racors on front wall?

Almost forgot....removing the refrigerator? Molding around the door must come off as you come down the steps? Already removed door from refrigerator and it still won’t fit through the stair walkway.
 
I have 1 Alpine sub under the steering wheel and it looks like a 10: sub. I'll be upgrading the stereo soon, can't wait for that upgrade.

Refrigerator came right out once I removed the door. No modifications needed once the refrigerator door was removed.

Next question. How big of a display will fit to the port side of the steering wheel? Currently has an e80 and I'd like to upgrade to the Raymarine Axiom +. Looks like 9" will fit easily but I wonder if the 12" will work. I'll take a closer look this afternoon if I run down to the boat. The Quantum radar is interesting but if I am running a power wire up there why not just run the data cable and/or ethernet cable?
 
I have an a127 12" RM with the Quantum radar and highly recommend against the wireless version. I had nothing but problems with the Wi-Fi version and replaced it with the wired one.
 
I noticed you have to run a power wire so if I am doing that I don’t see an issue in running an additional wire. There is a data cable and ethernet cable listed as options. I am assuming I would need to run the data cable? I am not sure what the ethernet cable would do.
 
12 Axiom is going to be a tight buy but I think I can do it.

Did you use a mounting plate/bracket or does it fit tightly with just the unit?

I went to a plastic shop and bought a black trim piece with the cut-out for the a127. My opening top to bottom was a little larger than the a127.

Where in the hell is the dsm300??? The wire goes from the ducer up on the starboard side, coiled up then disappears into a conduit. I can’t for the life of me find this thing. I know it goes to the dsm300 and then to the e80 display. I swear I’ve looked everywhere in the bilge and under the helm.
 
Found it. Behind the center dash.

On our configuration the tables store in the cabinet across from the helm and the pads store under the aft stateroom bed...
