THANKS I LIKE PLUG AND PLAY LOL IM ALL ABOUT EASY

ANY standard DIN opening stereo will work.. My advice go with a newer clarion for plug and play.. you will have to change the remote and cable going to the remote at the helm (no matter what brand you go with), clarion is a easier to install because you can unplug the old radio and plug in a new one (minus the remote working).. all others wiring will need to be redone, just follow the existing wire colors and you will be fine.. any questions let me know..

What was/is the replacement model number please

There isnt just one model there are many to choose form.. the one i have is a M505.. they dont make it anymore.. it was replaced with the M508

http://www.clarion.com/us/en/products-personal/marine/

you can pick just about any radio there.. and will be plug and play EXCEPT the remote will NOT work.. you must change it and the cable for a fully functional remote.. if you want the existing remote to just turn on and off and volume it can woork with just an adapter cable..
the models below will not fit unless you modify the mount in the salon..
CMS20, CMS4, GR10BT, CMS2, CMS5

so pick what you want.. pull the old radio out.. (remove the cover plates on the side of the radio) there are 4 screws holding it in.. slide it out.. unplug everything directly off radio, plug everything in new radio..
(run cables to helm if your using a new remote [i can guide you through that], pull out old remote, cut hole bigger for new remote, plug and play.. )

Has anybody added an extended swim platform? I'm interested in adding a lower tier to the platform, similar to the one on my 97 330 dancer. Just wondering if some company has a ready made bolt on design.

Question
My new to me 06 40DA Appears to lean to the starboard side when I come up On plane and sitting in the dock ,the Port SIde seems to be a little higher and I have to use the starboard side tab to level the boat is there anything I need to know ? fuel uneven , The fuel is about 5 to 7 gal difference more on strb side, otherwise the boat comes up on plane and runs fantastic

its normal..
Mine sits about 1/2-3/4" lower on the starboard side at the dock..
has do do with the Genset being on the starboard side, and your holding tank being empty.. plus when underway the majority of the people sitting on the boat are on the starboard side..

they should have put the batteries on the starboard side and the Gen on the port, the gen would draw off the larger fuel tank ( why it draws off the smaller one is stupid)

Any one want a Salon TV??
I'm giving it away for free..
nothing wrong with it..
very little use..
looks and works like new.. No power supply
Just pay for shipping..

I removed it and put in a smart TV..
it's in too good of shape for me to just toss it in the trash..

I was thinking to fill the Port SIde fuel tank an extra five or 6 gallons to offset the weight , to see how that works I will be needing fuel soon so I will post again when I see if there’s a difference

I used a Samsung smart tv 28", it was not an easy task.. i did it so we didnt have to modify anything on the factory stuff..

pulled the old tv out.. and mounted the new one ((literally double sided tape and ziptied it in place) something i didnt want to do, but ran out of time) and its perfectly fine and will never move.. the factory mounts will work with the new tv.. if you modify the frame, you can used M4 bolts to the factory mount and tv.. if you dont want to do that (cut the frame).. you can place the tv on the frame it will sit there, and use Zipties into the corners of the tv to the frame (use really short screws to hold the zip tie) .. its never going to move and the tv literally weighs nothing compared to the factory tv..

as for the cabling.. GOOD LUCK.. that took us HOURS to get a D-A converter, a HDMI and the new Power Cable up.. which by the way you will more than likely have to leave the factory power cable in place because SeaRay in the infinite wisdom put the plug into the outlet then pushed a wall directly to the plug, you cant pull it out at all without cutting a hole in the wall behind the coffee maker..

Looking for some help locating a breaker or GFI for the cockpit fridge. I thought the fridge had gone bad but i pulled it out and tested in my garage and it worked fine. Put it back in and nothing. Must be a power problem so i am searching for a breaker or GFI that must be tripped. All the interior GFI’s are fine. Thanks.

What are the dimensions? I have a 1999 38' Sundancer. My ice maker just broke. How old is it? How much do you want?

I have a 2010 390 DA and am having trouble with my water heater. I can’t find it to look it over and get a fix. Where is it?
