Kingso X001SACQPT 938345 G4 LED bulbs – Amazon
The G4 LED bulbs, which are longer, require you to take out the lens on the 390 ceiling lights. We decided to leave the halogens in the salon and everywhere else go for the 20W or 40w LEDs.

Thank you for the help sir. Going to order them. Should be big improvement.
Just put in 20 of the leds in cool white.
Major improvement, ordered another 15
And that Will completely finish all cabin
Lights. The boss will be happy when she goes to boat this spring.

Any pics? I still cannot see how the cabin ones come down. Which light bulb did you order?

Did you have to remove the lens and leave them off too? I do not want to do that. Want it to look factory but with new bulbs

No the lens stay. The long pins on the led bulb pushes in. They work fine.
It’s a little testy getting them in though.
Everything stays that the current bulb
Is in.
You will like the change. It takes 35 led’s
To make the change.

no idea how to turn pictures correctly.
Lights it up nicely.

Has anyone installed laminate wood or vinyl floors in the cabin? Pictures?

Thanks Rob, ordering seadek for the cockpit, steps, and swim platform tomorrow. Just cannot wait to pull
Her and clean and paint bottom in the spring. Hopeful to get this done locally,
Got a guy that said he can do it. If not
It’s going to Cincinnati.
We also updated the satillite TV which was a little pricy but the grand boys had to have it.

Roger, that is fantastic! Always wanted Seadek on the boat. Did you do the template already, or did they have one already? Keep me posted on if you find someone local that can pull that beast and bottom paint it! I understand on the Satellite upgrade. The current system had enough channels for my wife and I, but did not provide the full suite of channels or high definition. If we would have kept the boat, probably would have done the same myself. Would love to see the boat once you get the Seadek in! Glad all is going well with the boat!

Cosmo, there is similar verbiage in my manual about a reservoir. But, I haven't seen one in the aft bilge and can't find any reference to one in the Sea Ray parts guide for the model. I have only needed to recharge and purge my system once and was able to do all the filling from the helm oil fill fitting.
Happy Black Friday!

Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. Or a nice Thursday outside the US!

Anyway, I've had an intermittent problem this season.

My steering was very tight, as if there was no power assist. I could still steer, but it took a lot of effort.

This only happened about four or five times. It would last the entire trip, but be gone the next time.

I figured I needed to check the fluid level in the steering reservoir.

I just can't find it! The manual says it should be on the rear bulkhead of the engine compartment. I do not see it.

Anyone know exactly where it is?

Check behind the hatch in the head compartment in the aft cabin. Should be mounted behind the fresh water pump.

Got all the PO’s old stickers off today. Been nice working on the boat for a couple days in Feb.
weather is unreal for February.

Just for the record, Roger, those stickers were not my doing! :)

They came off pretty easy, little heat and peel. Then goo be gone and done.
Unreal I could do it this time if year. It took 3 months to get documentation back with changes.

Just started this project (well, started paying somebody to do this project). Am replacing all of the salon, aft cabin, and forward cabin with vinyl planks -- leaving the galley flooring alone. Will post pics once it's a little further along. Initial obstacles: floor underneath the carpet is very uneven. Will require some grinding and then likely 1/4" of subfloor. Floor in the forward cabin will need subfloor to stay even with the galley flooring.
