Is this the 5" or the larger emblem

Little bit of updating here. All hull stripes removed, and badging updated.

So yesterday was an amazing dry day in the Northwest. Very unusual. I am on the Harbor Committee and we just had 2 replacement docks installed. We spent 3 hours installing 35 dock boxes in dry weather. The cardboard they were in each had a couple of gallons of water in them. Good way to get a shower pulling the ones off the top of the stack...!

In the afternoon, got this installed.

The old Raymarine radar was goofy to get out. There is a knob and an adjustment crank inside that I could reach from the little door under the wheel. It shows open as I have it off the hinges to gain access for the Garmin and for the red switch that is the ACR, Automatic Charger Relay. I now have separate house and start batteries. I'll get some pictures.

The 1242xsv is pretty tight...

It needed a little trimming...

Need To Replace Saloon Refrigerator.

I am wanting to get an idea of the costs in having the saloon fridge replaced by a professional. I am waiting on someone to come out to give me an estimate, but wonder what others paid for their's. Also interested in other options too.

Thanks,
Vince

Go back about 3 or 4 pages. Amajamer detailed the fridge he found to fit the area where many of us have the ice maker.

I am replacing the failed ice maker with the Isotherm 85 that he chose. It required cutting the fiberglass to open up the area but that is not a big deal for the pro. You may need DC power run to the spot as well.

Let us know how it goes!

Ah, I'm thinking cockpit area where the icemaker is...well was, yanked it out today. I am going with a Vitrofrigo 90.

As I had mentioned before, previous owners spent a bunch on this boat and another one of the things was a replacement fridge. It's a good sized Vitrofrigo that we like a lot so going with same brand in cockpit.

There were some comments in this forum but way back about replacing the salon fridge, some of the sliding door mechanism and maybe the door has to be removed to get the old one out and new one in.

Cheers!

Definitely doesn't. I can get my cabin fridge out in about 5 minutes.

I am wondering why my service guy is telling me the doors need to come off and some of the galley area needs to be removed. Interesting...... (scratching my head) so could you easily pull your fridge out, pass it through the cabin door and then up to the cockpit?

Thanks for the info,
Vince

Ah, ok, that part, I don't know. I only removed mine to get behind it to run A/V wiring and some other odds and ends. I wouldn't be surprised if the door has to come off to get it off the boat.

I'm thinking that's probably going rate for that job in your area.

I see now...Ha.

I recently ran a wire for the battery monitor from the upper cabinet on the far right of the galley to the engine room.

I took it down through the chase where the galley switches and plugs are on the right side into the lower cabinet. Then along the back of the lower cabinets to the area under the fridge. There is an access panel on the left side of the cabinet under the sink. From there up behind the fridge and out through a drilled hole into the locker just outside to the left of the sliding door. The aft across the top of the ice maker and down a chase into the engine room.

I needed help fishing the wire behind the fridge...one of us on the floor and one up above the fridge cabinet with a 5 foot wire for fishing.

Thought the rest of you 380 guys would get a kick out of this. Decided to do a color change wrap on our boat, and here is how it turned out. Still waiting to get it in the water but man what a difference!

I've thought about doing this also, two questions: how did they finish the transom area around the boarding area and swim platform? and how much was the cost?

My goal was to have this look like it came from the factory. Everything below the rub rail is covered. I will post some more pictures when I get back up to the boat. Cost was roughly $5k. I was quoted $15k + for a full gelcoat, and logistically this worked a lot better.
