Official 380 Thread

Hello All - I ended up installing Vessel View on my 380 DA with 8.1s. I noticed that the oil pressure seems high. The Analog gauges read about 40 ish. Does anyone with vessel view see higher reading like this? Trying to determine if I have an issue here.

Thanks

Isinglass Material Gauge Question.

I am replacing all the canvas and Isinglass on my 380DA in a couple weeks. I had two quotes and one had quoted 30 gauge material and the other 40. Is there a common or a preferred gauge for the windows? We are getting the zip-outs for cooling so we don't plan on taking them down, rolling them up and storing them for day trips. I don't know if thicker is better in our application.

Also, one of the vendors suggested a light tint to reduce some transferred heat which can be significant here in FL. He assures me it will not affect my night vision at all.

Thoughts? Comments?

Got in my 380 DA 2001 gas 7.4s idled into IWC and pushed throttles forward. No power to either motor. Could only get to 9 mph at full throttle. Then they cut out and couldn’t restart for a couple minutes. Thoughts? HELP!

Picturethis, I had the same problem, but with only one motor and it was an 8.1. I did a couple of remedies at the same time, so not sure which one corrected the problem. The mechanics scanner said cam shaft error. We changed out the sensor and the problem persisted. We noticed that the fuse that controlled the cam shaft sensor was fouled, but not blown. forums said it sounded like a vapor lock. Come to find out one of the water inlets on my cool fuel system was totally clogged with mud, thus causing the fuel pump to heat up and probably did cause the vapor lock. Hope this helps.

Thanks, since it happened to both motors at the same time I don’t know what to think.

I've connected to the ECM via SmartCraft Gateway and am not getting numbers like that. Here's my typical readings at cruising speed.

Hello 380 thread peeps.... I just sold my 92' 370 and looking for a freshwater 380 Sundancer, prefer 2003, but will consider others. Anyone looking to move their good clean low hour 380DA?

Not all forum responses said it was vapour locked
