Official 380 Thread

Hello all,
Does anyone know the dimensions of the outside cockpit table? I am looking to replace mine as it's too small and not very attractive.
Thanks,
Mak

In reference to my post about the cabin door....Mine was having problems so I took it apart this past weekend. Found three wheels broken off and laying in the tracks. They all came from the main door so I ordered 4 new trucks from Flounder Pounder and plan on "fixing it" this weekend. It not a hard job just a bit time consuming.

Tdady, you didn't happen to take any pix of that process did you? My door is very tempermental when trying to open and close it. I'm thinking I've got the same problem.

I recently had the pleasure of removing my door during the refrigerator replacement. I would, at first, attempt to avoid it by vacuuming the tracks and swabbing them out with Q-tips.

I'll give it a try. Thanks!

I didn't take any pictures however it really isn't that bad. Start at the top, disassemble everything on the outer door, then work on the bottom. Youll need to lean the door back in order to remove the last barrel nut so the door can come out of the track. I only had to remove the outer door since that's where the problem was. Good luck!!

anyone replaced anchor on 2000 380da? Tried 35# delta but does not fit davit / chute.
I'm told South Coast Marine made plow anchors for several model years. anyway to confirm based on HIN and or Hull number. Parts manual specifies P/N 878512.

After a long...long...dry sit, finally looking to jump back into boating with a 2003-2004 380 with 8.1's. Going up on a lake North of Atlanta as a week-end getaway for the family. Been reading up on everybodys post, I appreciate the info.

Question: Want to have a PWC on the back. Looking at several online DIY jobs where people have added craddles that swing back under the boat when not in use...check out what this guy has done.

I was looking for an off the shelf option. I would like to keep the swim platform clear of toe stubbers as possible.

What is everybody doing with their PWC or Dingy?

First question I would have is the size of PWC you're considering. Most of the larger ones will outweigh the capabilities of the stock platform.

Found his website http://www.drybilge.com/.

Brackettracer...yup...that was my next question...

Anybody know the weight limit on the swim platform?? Can the platform be reinforced to accomodate an increased load? Pictures of your system would be great:)

I'll likely look for a 3 person to do some pulling/tubing/boarding. Some of the 3 person are right at 800 lbs. A Sea-Doo Wake for 3 is around 450-500 lbs.

Hey Tdady...

Who made/installed your platform. Do you have any pictures?

That looks like an awsome upgrade! And I bet the bill to install was just as aw$ome!

I noticed a pretty significant amount of water coming from the transmission this evening. I have a 2006 380 Sundancer. Not sure of the transmissions though. I believe they are dripless. Anyone have an idea of what might cause this. It seems to be where a rubber hose goes in to the transmission. Cooler line? I read somewhere about caps coming off, etc.
Any thoughts

Thanks,
Mark
