Lights I got from Northern Marine Electronics a while ago for $298, but I recently saw Boe Marine had them for just over $300 which showed the adjusted price after adding to your cart. Install cost I don't know yet as I haven't received the bill.

Yes lumitec seablaze x

Great lights. Seriously well-constructed. Did the Seablaze Spectrum a month or so ago. Still won't be in the water for at least another month though :-(

Doc O Rock ..... I had the yard do it but there is no reason you couldn't do it yourself as its applied with a brush or roller.

Bracketracer ..... The Spectrums look very nice but decided to go with the tried and tested Seablaze X. No good on the wait to get your boat back in the water - in Oz we are able to boat all year round and only lift for hull and running gear maintenance for a week or two although obviously the topside gel coat gets hammered by the elements being in the water virtually all year round.

I want to install a Magmal Pedastal Mount on my 380 Sundancer swim platform. I was planning on through bolting it using stainless hardware with nylon nuts, fender washers etc.. My question is should I just use 3M 4200 to seal the holes? I'm assuming that the is wood inside the fiberglass coating?

My mechanic told me at winterizing that the hot water heater was leaking. I know that the access is under the aft cabin movable bench. How hard is it to remove the bench and hot water heater? I'm pretty good at doing most things. Any videos?

Drill the holes larger than needed, tape off the bottom of the holes and fill the holes with epoxy to seal off the core, drill the correct size holes once the epoxy has cured, I used Nylock nuts and fender washers, I also mounted the base under the ladder hatch.

You'll have to pry up the cushion part of the aft sofa. It's held in by 4 wood screws, which are screwed in from underneath. This will strip the screws out of the plywood that the upholstery is stapled to. Once you pry it off you can re-set the sofa seat back onto the screwsm to hold it in place, or you can cut the protruding screws flush.

Here's a pic with the cushion removed. Note the screw sticking up and the sawdust from pulling it up. I suppose you could reach under and try to back those screws out (there are maybe 4, one in each corner) but good luck with that. Ask me how I know that's futile?

I used to remove the backrest, not the seat bottom. If you start to put the couch down it will give you access to reach behind the seat back. There are four or six machine screws with nuts on them (T-nuts in the backrest plywood). Once the back is removed just roll the couch the rest of the way down and work through the access created.

It finally happened. My Norcold Fridge has died. I recall some horror stories about how difficult it is to remove and replace the fridge because of the difficulty of getting the fridge through the cockpit sliding door. At this point, the only option I see is replacing the original unit with the newer Norcold DE 0061. $1,376 on Ebay with free shipping. I'm open to suggestions, here, my friends. Thanks, in advance.

Bump....any available pointers on replacing the fridge will be appreciated. The new Norcold is on the way.

Sorry, didn't stumble upon your post til just now (my email notifications have stopped). I've heard that you need to remove the door to get the new unit in and the old unit out. Don't ask me how this is done but I wanted NO part of it when my Notcold died. I bought the replacement guts and did the job inside the cabin. Took a few hours, quieted down the noisy Notcold and works great. I think I did a write up on this but I'd have to go find it. Besides, too late for you since you've already bought a replacement fridge.

Thanks....I found some old posts the other day when I was researching this that indicated the same as you say; removing the door. I inquired at the local Notcold dealer, and they said parts were unavailable. The factory told me the same thing, so, I bought the replacement fridge...DE 0061. So, if there are any suggestions on how to remove the cabin door, I'm all ears (eyes, in this case).
