Has anyone removed the fuel deck fills?
The fuel supply hoses from the deck fill to the tank need to be replaced.
There are three screws so should be simple enough to undo and pull up the fill, then remove the hose clamp.
However both the port and starboard fill screws just spin in place, as if there's a nut on the other side. Zero access to them, hence the question.

As a guess, carefully remove the large vent covers on the outside of port and starboard sides. I am guessing this will give you some access.

Pretty sure there are no nuts behind those screws. Probably just sealant holding in place. Have a borescope I can hopefully use to take a look on the other side.

@Chris-380 thanks, that was the answer to remove the large vent covers.
So yes there were nuts on the back of the screws. I'm assuming they took that route to affix the grounding cable to the deck fill.

Original refrigerator, two TVs and the microwave in the trash.
Was able to disassemble the refrigerator to the point it would fit up through the cabin companionway.

Has anyone ever removed the cockpit sink? Know how it is affixed? Must be glued? If so, what kind? Use heat gun to soften glue? Looking up from the bottom, not attached like a regular sink in your house.

Very much interested in the pictures and measurements. I'm pretty sure the 19" restriction on the 380DA is going to mean the unit will stick out by 3". Hope not.

It’s glued in, be careful, you will probably damage the gel coat and have to do a small repair . It’s 5200 holding it down

My end goal is no sink or faucet (we have not used the sink or faucet for the 2 yrs that we have owned the boat). I'm thinking I can fill the holes with starboard and gain some useful countertop space. This is a 2023 project, so I'll report back.

If you don’t want a sink, I would go to a marble/granite/quartz shop and see about getting a remnant cut to lay over the entire counter. I have seen where they make a mouse hole or notch around the rail so you don’t have to remove that. Guessing the mounts wouldn’t be long enough to go all the way through the additional thickness.

I would make a cardboard pattern and see what they have laying around in the remnant pile.

Or, you can get the sink out and put in an undermount stainless sink. Then get a small piece of Corian or Starboard to place over the sink. Just a thought.

I've twice removed the ole white sink in favor of a stainless upgrade and have yet to do any damage. Just some gentle prying required once the plumbing was loose. One of the few boat projects that went almost exactly how I'd expected :)

Looks nice! I actually use that sink, especially to wash my hands when I don't want to step down into the cabin.

I am a fan of keeping things as stock/original as possible knowing I may sell one day.

Agreed, we use ours. It also becomes the default location for empties quite frequently. One thing I've always missed about my 340 was the integrated trash can next to the sink. Was the perfect place for cans when you don't want to head all the way inside...

Thanks for all the input...first thing is to see if I can even remove the sink. Stee gives me hope!
