Official 370 Sundancer thread

Are the gaskets still intact? I've had the adhesive fail on all the engine hatch gaskets from side hatches to the main hatch and so on. I imagine that if it were re-attached by the PO, it may be off center a bit. Mine does not wiggle a bit. Never seen one screwed down.

You know what, maybe those where snap holes I was seeing. I hate new boats. :)

Ok, so what advice do you all have about the best places to store stuff. What do you put and where?

Everything whererver it fits!

More seriously, we keep the wine in the floor, nice even temperature down there
Had to figure out what to do with the slant back canvas with a huge window. Looks like rolling it up on a pool noodle and putting it under the rear seat will work. Also put a couple of ditch bags with good life jackets under the starboard seating.

Has anyone replaced the tides seal? My spare was already used and it looks like I’m getting a little leakage at speed. How hard is this? I’d add a new one and a spare. Seems like they cut the stringer down for access.

Sounds like a very feasible idea. I've had our camper enclosure sides in the back of the cab of my truck for a couple of months now wondering how/where to stash them without significantly damaging or creasing the isinglass. Nobody ever sits in the rear of the cab so seats are folded up and everything lays flat with no possibility of being damaged. I may be going to purchase some pool noodles tomorrow and trying the roll method!!!! Our boat is new to us so of course we are still playing the "where to put things" games as well. I like for ease of access when I need it but that often entails taking up the space the wife would refer to as a "No, that does not go there" type location. :D

Just learned today it looks like I have the PSS mechanical shaft seals. The old tides replacement holders are zipped to the bulkhead and have the spare seal in them. Port is leaking at speed a little bit. Anyone have theses.

I've got one of these.
What do you think? I am quite surprised that a previous owner had the tides changed out, without using the spare seals first. I'm getting a little leak at speed, not sure if it's cruise or WOT. But it looks like it's quite compressed.

Honestly, I get a leak at rpm too and I'm deciding how to address it. Adjusted the engine angle already but only a small improvement.

Hi all,

I'm having some trouble locating new ignition rocker switches Off/On/(on) to replace mine. Has anyone replaced theirs recently?

Ok guys, hate to say it but I am starting to think about that W word. Have plenty of projects to do while she is stored. But the question is -- taking out the seats, so I can lift up the hatches. Any tricks to it?

Are they heavy -- thinking of taking them home to store so I can get in and out for my projects with no issues. But the thought of lugging them up the dock to the car isn't very exciting.

They're pretty simple, the rear seat is a little awkward to get off by yourself, but easily manageable and no problem to carry by yourself.

Hello....I have a "like new" set of carpeting for the 1995 370 Sundancer helm/cockpit area.. only used 2 months...we decided to get the AquaTraction instead....It is in light grey with snaps already installed on this binded carpet...any interest let me know....I am in the PA/NJ area...looking to get $200.00

Looked at a 95 370 last night.. might be putting in an offer. God damn 203 pages, I have a lot of reading to do.

Only thing that concerned me was the 7.5kw Quicksilver Genny. I know nothing about any of the different types of genny's but reading on this forum it seems that parts are hard to come by for the Quicksilver, any insight or tips you guys can give me on this genset?
