WOW! After market install. That is the spot where the 4 start/house group 27 batteries usually go. Must have been an owner that really went somewhere, or went to places where you had to bring your own resources.
I wonder what it does to the list of the boat if all tanks are full.

Unknown just yet as I'm still going thru the systems on this recent purchase. Also dock help must have mistakenly added water to this tank. I'm dealing with it now.

Hope everyone's winter is going by fast and your "Boat to-do" list is getting shorter by the week.

I purchased my 370 later last summer and absolutely love it. The previous owner did a great job keeping it clean and updating the boat but saying this I would still like to put a few personal touches on it. One would be the stereo system. Currently there are 4 6.5" JL audio's installed in the manufactured spots. I would like to disconnect those 2 annoying speakers that is in your ear when sitting in the cockpit. I have read that some people have installed a set of speakers lower in that area so it is not right in your ear but I cannot find any pictures to tell me exactly where they installed these. The only place I can think of that is lower is under the seats. To me the other place that might make sense is to install a speaker higher up in the arch. Has anyone done this before or is it even possible with the minimum thickness of the arch? I guess I am looking for input on what others have done along with any pictures. I am kind of stuck on where the best place to cut holes in my cockpit would be and do not want to pick the wrong spot. I am looking at putting either 2 or 4 JL Audio 7.7 speakers in the cockpit. Another option would be to install something like the Wet Sounds Rev 6 x 9SM speakers externally under the seats (https://wetsounds.com/pages/products/REV6X9SM). Any ideas? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

That is abolsutely a first for me and I have thousands of photos of 370's on the site and never saw this before. It must be a custom install. The fill location is close to where my port rod holder is located. I have a stainless power cord holder there to secure the power cord as it runs to dock power tower.

Thanks for the photos. Do you mind if I put them on the 370 Sundancer site? Send me a PM and give me the name of your boat so I can create a page for it.

I had the same isssue with the speakers being right in your ear so I disconnected them and installed surface mounted speakers under the seats. I left all of the original wiring intact and just made up some jumpers to reach the new locations. I went with surface mount speakers in their own box so I didn't have to cut big holes in the boat. Worked out pretty well. Mark

Great idea - add another project to the list. I was using Alexa in the cockpit area because of the speaker location.

I mounted my JL's up on the arch at the access points to fix the speaker in the ear deal. All I needed was a pair of 1/2" speaker spacers that I purchased from a local audio store. What a difference.

Thank you for everyone's responses. Carlton, did you put a JL 6.5 of a 7.7 in the arch at the access points? I was thinking of doing the same thing.

Need Cruise Air info; No flow from AC cooling pump-was working previously. I know rear ac breaker must be on.
    Questions:
    1. Is pump dependent on water/ambient temps? When exactly should the pump run? only after pushing the "cool" button?
    2. Should the pump be on with the heater?
    3. Where is the pump relay/triggers on a '95 370 Sundancer?
    Thanks

Can someone tell me where to access the fresh water pump and its strainer? I hear it somewhere near the port side of the forward bedroom, but just not seeing the access in my quick search for it. Pretty sure my strainer is clogged after i drained the tank and refilled. Must have stirred up some crud in the tank (which is a little troublesome to think about).

Sorry for all the back-to-back posts. Been a little while since I've had time to think about the boat projects.
Does anyone know where I might buy the plate and handles for these shifters? I'm considering having them replated but also thinking about just replacing.
On that same note, my 370 has this "gold" plating on a LOT of the stainless hardware. Mainly all the grab bars on the boat. It's thick stuff and seems to be some type of plastic. Any thoughts on how to remove it besides taking all the pieces off and to a metal stripping/plating shop? [IMG]

Check under forward berth, forward of HVAC unit with a separate access panel for pump and strainer.

Must not have lifted the mattress up high enough to see that panel. Will check again later today. Thanks!

    Battery Charger replacement:
Just a quick note for anyone looking to replace the factory installed battery charger in our 370. This one is a very easy swap. One of the charging banks in my old charger had gone bad. And I wanted a better interface for reading volts and amps anyway. This one also has a battery temp sensor. During this install I ran new positive cables to each of the three battery banks directly rather than though the isolator that was factory installed.[IMG][IMG]
