Reaching out to bring some life back to this thread, any one here still current 350DA owner? Purchased a 91' this past summer, have been slowly pecking away at it and enjoying it.

Glad to hear from y'all. I feel as if I was lucky to find mine, was local on my lake and essentially a 2 owner boat. Had around 560Hrs on the mains, and 650ish on the Quicksilver Genny. The boat had very light use for a few years prior to me buying so once we started using it frequently we had some issues I worked through. I have spent the last few months bringing all of the mechanical's up to date as far as servicing, etc in my spare time. I do all of the mechanical, electrical myself as I own a marine service business. Now working on getting the exterior up to snuff, have all the pin stripping off and am having it wet sanded and buffed. I'll post some pics when I get down to the boat tomorrow. Love the boat, perfect size for me and my better half.

Doing away with the carpet is something I'd like to do eventually, maybe next winter. I will be very interested to see yours. I have a small flat screen in the v-birth, but I am trying to decide where I want to place one in the salon. What's your plan?

Working on doing away with the old head unit and VCR. Getting a acrylic panel cut to fit into the trim, and mounting a new Fusion RA210 head unit in it. Going to add a couple more speakers in the cockpit and a sub.

Keep in mind, this is not my setup yet. Most of the setups I found ran the cords through the panel directly above the tv, which is accessed after removing the GPS or radar unit at the helm, where there a several screws. I don't want any wires to be seen. I will run the wires through an electrical plate with a slit in the middle. The antenna is already mounted on the window next to the helm, the DVD player is usb powered to the tv and will be mounted in the overhead cabinet, controlled by a remote actuator . My 110 power source will be the outlet in the aft berth to the left of the mirror at the back. I also put a slitter on the antenna and ran wire to the tv location in the v berth.

All sounds like great idea's, what wall mount did you get for your TV?

I only have a few pieces left to complete the flooring before I do the carpet trim pieces around the edges of the head and the edges of the wall carpet around the aft berth. I will have to add some shims to the floor panels to level them out with the second layer.

I think the most exciting update will be the relocation of the shore cords to the transom. I will only mount two recepticles

That will definitely be a nice upgrade, I had to get creative with my shore power cords in my slip as I back in, and my shore power post is on the back starboard side of my slip.

On another note, have you done any rebedding of the railing or hatches? I am going to do my hatches some time this winter. I don't have any leaks, and it lives in a covered slip but I like to be proactive.

Anyone could tell the previous owner did little cosmetic maintenance as far as the railings. the headliner in the v-berth looks terrible from the leaks, but I am pulling the material and replacing with foam backed vinyl and using pleated shades instead of the original Bamboo material.

I didn't have many leak stains, but the couple I did have it removed them. I didn't realize how dirty the interior was until I started doing it, brought the walls and all back to a "clean" white look. I'd love to re bed the railings just as a piece of mind but I know it would be a night mare to do.

If they are not leaking, just make sure they are tight., just dont overtighten. I think it never hurts to apply a light coat of clear 3400 around the base of the stancions and the bolt heads

When I sold my 88 300 Weekender, I scrubbed the walls first, then I use a few spray cans of white chaulk paint . I couldn't believe the success I had with this. The new owner was impressed with how clean the headliner was in the V-Berth
