Official 350 Thread

Hello!

I have 2 bazooka tubes mounted under the aft seat. They sound great and are completely hidden. Next time I make it to the marina this winter I will post a pic.

Has anyone had to replace thier helm seat and companion seat? The plastic shells are cracking badly.I dont see any way to repair them either.I know i have a 370 but i get no respect on the 370 sundancer threads(JK).

Hi Matt. Sorry to change the subject but we have the same year/model and I need to replace the entire bimini and framing. I noticed in your sig pic that you have a forward cover exactly like I would like to add. Did yours come with the boat or did you find someone who could frame it so you have an upper windshield while driving? I have to roll mine back in order to see over the glass windshield. Tnx.

Fortunately mine was already like that when I purchased the boat. That was a major selling point for me. Any good canvas shop should be able to make it for you.

jzanthony - As promised pictures below of the bazooka tubes mounted under the aft seat. I also added a picture of the pigtails that are installed to quickly disconnect the subs when I need to remove the seat for maintenance. These took zero space from the already limited space this boat offers, and they sound GREAT! I have them and 4 Polk MM651UM's powered by a JL HD900/5. It is crystal Clear with plenty of bass. Adding the 2 additional 6.5" speakers in the sides of the arch was tricky, but well worth it! Good luck with your install!

Thank you Mcandella

Looks great, like the pigtail idea for removing bench seat. How do you like the Polk mm651UM we are considering those or the JL MX650 for the price difference and how the polk sounded in the store strongly considering them.
will also be doing them in arch did you have to do more then just add the spacers to make them fit.

I LOVE the Polks! A dock mate has the JL's and they don't sound nearly as clear or loud. Could be the settings in his amp/head unit, but I didn't like them. I have seen the Polks on Amazon as low as $145 per set.

I couldn't find spacers thick enough to allow these deep speakers to fit so I opted for these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANGLED-SPEA...435559?hash=item3ab063d427:g:w~8AAOxy4t1Sil2N

Overall happy with the look. I will get pictures of that too.

I have a leaky center vent and want to fix it,has anyone done this ? I found some part numbers from taylormade products for the foam gasket and it looks like a wire track cover that snaps over the hinged area. The seal may be 8350570 and the cover may be 8339920,41100097 or 8338950. any help Thank you.

As a side i replaced the foam screw cover along the bottom of the windshield frame yesterday with part number 8349030 from fp marine and it worked great.Glen

Just to be double sure, are you replacing the black foam on the outside of the frame like in the pic below? Mine isn't leaking yet but it's cracked and has shrunk away from some of the edges. I'd like to replace it before the inevitable leaking begins. Glad to know we have a current part available if that one worked. Tnx.

Yes i replaced the foam at the bottom of the windshield with rubber insert. It curls at the bottom and locks into the channel edge at the top.about $82 delivered for 14 ft.

Any one have a good pic of your center vent window especially the upper hinge seal .

jzanthony,

Here are pictures of the pods I used. I couldn't get great pictures since the shrinkwrap is still on the boat. The color doesn't match perfectly, but it is really not noticeable in the grand scheme. No one has ever pointed the color difference out.

Wow have I missed out on a lot! So, a career change has left me neglecting things for while now... not good. A number of projects to carry me through the summer and get back to par. So good to see the new names on here keeping things going.
Thanks 1956olds for that part # - just added to my list. And similar to that, has anyone done the gaskets around the side vent (sliders) windows? I now have the rainwater in the floor locker issue and suspect this as the culprit.
Mcandella - nice job with the speaker install. I did a stereo overhaul about 3 years ago and wish I would have know about those spacers then. But I'm happy with what I ended up with... 3 JL amps driving 5 speaker pairs on a fusion head w/ remote mounted control on dash. Let us know how its going jzanthony, glad to send some pics if you need or want.
Nice to be back. Vince

Hoping to see some stereo progression on next trip down to the boat, I let the wife take on that project as we couldn't agree on too much for brands and layout so she is over seeing that portion I believe she went with all JL audio as well with Fusion head unit and a wired remote, I took on removing the stripes and prepping her for summer.

Does anyone know the size of tray in the Ice maker. The tray is severely discoloured and was hoping to find a new one before i head down,

Hope to have Pictures soon, new name, polished and bottom paint, New smart T.V down below, serviced that A/C units as one condenser was completely clogged up. Both engines got the complete tune ups, 4 batteries and a new charger and Im sure there is still a few boat dollars to still be spent

cant wait to splash

Jamie

looking for some input on STB throttle falling down slightly while under way, seems to be loose. Is it possible to tighten this up by removing the cover plate or more in depth will need to get it sorted soon

thanks Jamie
