OFFICIAL 350/370 DA Thread (2008 or newer)

Yes, I used the available plug behind the galley fridge to power the A/C for the new drawer fridge control unit. Isotherm parts.com was helpful with the install wiring information. As I recall the larger A/C -D/C control unit required a double sided tape and zip tie install modification. Here’s a pic but not the final install.

Have installed a new Tv in your boat? I have been trying to figure out how to get it off

Yes, After giving up on reaching the mounting screws on the top and bottom and knowing I would never use the TV again I broke it off the wall. Actually broke the mounting plywood and gave to TV to a friend and still works. The new install was more work than anticipated but looks great and we love the sound bar & smart tv tech. Most of my post are on 330-350-2008 and newer thread. I posted the tv project as well as all my COVID-19 projects. Make sure you purchase a tv with all connections on the side so you can mount snug to wall. I have more pic’s available LMK.

We moved up from a 260 DA to a 2010 370 DA and absolutely LOVE this boat. Had to recharge the refrigerant in the large cabin refrigerator and noticed it only works on 110 V, nothing on 12 V. Any ideas?

congrats on the new boat! The cabin fridge should work on 12v, first thing I’d check is that the breakers on the cabin switch panel are on. From there confirm that the breaker isn’t tripped on the main breaker box forward and center in the bilge. If those are all good then I’d resort to removing the fridge and confirming that it’s hooked up properly and that the 12v lead has power.

New platform installed. 1st winter project

Mine works on DC

Quiet January morning thought I would repost my 310 - 330SD (2008 & newer) post. Strange the 2008 & 2009 330SD is the same boat as the 2010 - 2012 350SD. Maybe give you some ideas for this spring.

2020 summer projects completed (Covid 19 edition)

1)Extended swim platform (swim platform.com) with black gel sides & SeaDek
2)Didn’t like the narrow aisle, moved captain seats 3” to starboard & moved port Chair back 4” and 1” to port, lost part the turn motion back but great to have some leg room. Best move ever!
3)Added wash down pump (lake fed) using on/off and water connect in aft port side locker.
4)replaced the not working NorthStar VHF with a storage locker -Boat Outfitters
5)replaced the 26” cabin flat LCD TV with a 32” and sound bar (more work than expected)
6)Teak steps
7)200 feet of anchor chain
8)Endless water spot removal and wax.
9)Replaced Ramarine with 9” Garmin chartplotter

And a lot of beer....

So sad to see summer coming to an end - Never feels like Pandemic, Election, Floyd +++when your on the boat.
Still can’t figure out how to straighten pics.

Have a great weekend

Looks fantastic! Do you mind sharing details? Brand, approx cost, length, etc? This is on our short list of upgrades
The platform was by swimplatforms.com
$2925.00 base price, 455.00 options (LED’s, white with stainless rubrail, grab holes, and drink holders), crate 150.00 shipping 277.00 for a total of 3807.00. I believe it is 40in deep by 11ft

Where did you get your snap in carpet? Was it custom made?

The PO had the carpets made - Like most of that stuff I'll assume they were custom made. Great material dry's very fast
In this picture is that water on SeaDek or is it peeling? Hard to tell

Water... not peeling. This is our 3rd boat with SDek and so far really like the product. I have heard it gets really hot in southern climates, not to worry in the frozen north

Does anyone know how to access the fuel sender on a 2008 350DA? Should be the same on the 2010+ 370. My stbd tank shows full all the time and my port tank is unreliable - time to replace both (or at least one). I'm not seeing an obvious access panel so I thought I would ask before trying to remove the ice maker to look underneath.

I'm looking at purchasing a 2018 Sundancer 350. It's missing a few options that'd I like, and I was wondering how difficult/costly it would be to add them after the fact?
  • foredeck sun pad with the folding backrest
  • premium audio
  • thru-hull led lights (or something equivalent)
Is the fiberglass deck any different on boats that came with the factory sun pad option vs not?

Thanks!

All three very easy additions, If its the right boat in great condition Go for it! Inventories are low and prices are high. Enjoy
