Official 330 Sundancer Thread

Question: I include a finished piece of Infinity flooring for the head on many boats I do. Does the '95 to '99 330DA have a suitable "footprint" in the head for a lay in piece of bound Infinity?

Here is a pic of a 360DA head area.

Quint,

The 330 does not have a shower cut out like that, but I think there is an opportunity to have a piece cut that covers the floor, nice touch! Would keep the wet shower floor to a minimum. Great idea.

Okay, thanks. I will include the head for same price so it will be a 4 piece set of Infinity flooring.

I removed mine. I assume you are talking about the plastic insert that goes into the seat. Mine was siliconed into place. I tore it up to get it out. Replaced with stainless steel ones.

so where does everyone stash there tool box?
thinking under the bed???

My tools are in a combination of places. Some are under the left side of the forward berth over top of the A/C unit. Some are in the storage under the small seat to the right of the berth (AKA the bed step as my short wife and dog seem to use it).

A couple other options depending on the size of the box are the storage under the main dining seats. There is also storage under the rear berth cushions on the port side that you may not have discovered (I found an old GPS and some fishing gear in mine 2 years after I bought the boat).

My loose tools are in a tupperware box under the step seat. The socket set are in one of the small compartments under the dinette/couch.

I have a tool bag, a self contained socket set, and a couple of the plastic containers with internal dividers containing a supply of screws and other assorted electrical connectors. All of this lives in the port side compartment located just in front of the passenger seat.

I found that compartment in the aft cabin. it has the metal supports for the bed in it. I was also thinking of the floor but it seems like a pain I have the carpet runners above it. think I also need to get a smaller tool box. I guess I can leave oil and other fluids in the er

There is not much room in the ER. I keep tools under the bottom step in the cabin & my socket set in that slim compartment under the dinette by the floor.

has anyone service the v drives/ was going to do in spring not sure when last time it was done. is it gear oil and tranny fluid? I thought I saw two fill ports?

tranny fluid. I purchased a pump and sucked out most of the old fluid and refilled with new.

I'm looking to transport a '99 330 Sundancer from Moneta, VA to Vermilion, OH. Does anyone know if the arch needs removed when transported? Any transporting company recommendations?

I think that this question may have been broached before but not exactly sure if it was a 330. I do remember a recent thread on a 400 dancer asking how to remove the arch. A few chimed in there that they had transported great distances with the arch on, np. That wasn't why the fella wanted to take his off but it was good info otherwise.
As far as transport companies, try this:

I guess it depends on the height of the things you need to go under and how high the boat sits on the trailer. For what its worth I had my boat trucked over normal highways from Lake Erie to Georgian Bay which I think is about 200 miles and did not need to remove the arch or radar mount (dome was off).

I had my 330 trucked from Maryland to NJ and my 370 trucked from Florida to NJ. Neither had the arch removed.
