Cabin door trucks and tracks replacement on 97 330da.

The time has come to do this repair. @tdschafer had posted years ago about his replacement project but with the CSR changes your album is gone. I need to know the size of trucks I need to order. Has anyone done this recently on a 95 to 99 330da that can share what parts are needed and any tips on this project?

Did mine when I replaced my fridge, had to take the cabin door off to get it inside the boat. Call Boat Outfitters and they will set you up with all you need to replace your tracks

They couldn’t tell me the truck size to use. There are three sizes

Here was my order for my 96, hope it helps. I was able to get the truck sizes from Ben at FPMarine but they were out of the track so he directed me to Boat Outfitters which worked out perfectly.

Thank you so much!. Now I need to call Boat Outfitters and see if they can change my order before they ship. I ordered 4 of the 0.975 ones and it looks like I need 2 at 0.885 and 2 at 0.975.

Sliding cabin door tracks and trucks update:
Making this easy for those that need to do this repair and a shout out for Boat Outfitters, who sell the tracks and trucks needed. I had trouble finding the right size trucks to order and Boat Outfitters could not tell me what was needed for my 330DA, so based on what I could research, I guessed I needed 4 of the 0.975 high trucks. Well, thanks to @Rizzman I found out that I will need 2 of the 0.975 ones and 2 of the 0.885 ones.

So I called Boat Outfitters, but unfortunately my order was packed and shipped already. But they are sending me a set of the two smaller trucks for free in a separate shipment! Thank you Boat Outfitters! I will be posting a review on their website with the correct parts and referencing the 97 330DA so others will be able to get the right ones. Pricey parts, but will make the door run like new, so worth it IMO.

I Have a power point presentation showing the detail. Lets see if I can upload...

I got the truck sizes from Ben at Flounder Pounder but he was out of the track so he suggested I contact Boat Outfitters which I did and was able to get everything needed. I will say, when we removed the old track on top it was shimmed with cut tywrap scraps and lots of silicon due to the fiberglass not being straight all the way across. I tried to make as level as possible but after took some shimming between the top trucks and door before it slid free and smooth. Hopfully your 97 had a better mold than my 96 Florida DA and won't require shimming. My top track was split on the end so while replacing my refridgerator figured would do the track/trucks at the same time since it was apart. If you ever have to replace your fridge you will be taking the shroud and door off anyway.

Thanks. I bought it all from boat outfitters because FP only has black track and I want white like OEM. Mine is a Tennessee built boat so maybe straight? If I see shims I will know to use them again. Thanks for the tips.

BTW I replaced my fridge a while back with a Nova Kool and didn’t need to remove the cabin door. Barely fit but it fit.

Hi @Creekwood,
Sorry, I sold my boat last fall & don't get on here much anymore. I bought my trucks & tracks from Teak Isle. They guided me thru the purchase. I do recall that I had 2 different sizes but, honestly can't recall what they were. Damn shame that album disappeared during the platform change. It had every detail you would need!

No problem. I got the size from another member on here, so I should be good to go. Bought it all from Teak Isle (the retail side is Boat Outfitters now) I just need the motivation to tackle the thing now!

Need to replace fuel sending unit on '99 330 Dancer. Has anyone replaced theirs? Considering the newer reed switch vs the older arm float. Original pt # 1691486.

Don't know anything about the newer reed switch but here is a video of a fellow 330 owner changing his port side sender.

Hello all, has anyone replaced the freshwater system water pump on a 1996 330 Sundancer? I’m not on the boat and looking for the specs to buy a replacement. Appreciate the help!

Here is the specs of the Shurflo 2088-423-344 pump on my 330. I'm not sure if this is the original pump or not since I bought my boat used. My system does not have an accumulator.

I was considering the variable speed Jabsco 31750-0000 if I ever decided to replace my pump. However, this pump requires a bit more current draw and the supply wiring must be checked to see if it can handle it (recommended 14AWG).

Thank you very much, this was a big help. Be well.

In case anyone wants to replace their galley sink drain in a mid 90's 330DA, I replaced my pitted pot metal drain this weekend with a stainless steel one from Amazon. It fit perfectly and looks a lot better than the old one.

This is the one I bought:
https://www.amazon.com/30036-Stainless-Kitchen-Strainer-Standard/dp/B005E83KPU/ref=sr_1_1?crid=KDLWXN30ZSK9&keywords=EZ-FLO+30036+Sink+Strainer-Junior+Duo+with+Brass+Nut,+Stainless+Steel&qid=1663517367&sprefix=ez-flo+30036+sink+strainer-junior+duo+with+brass+nut,+stainless+steel,aps,75&sr=8-1
EZ-FLO 30036 Sink Strainer-Junior Duo with Brass Nut, Stainless Steel
Its another example of how we get ripped off in Canada. Price on Amazon.com US$7.77. Price on Amazon.ca (Canadian site) CAD$22.95. Insane.

I just bought this same one for my 1996 330, and the nylon washer seems to be too big to fit the bottom of the drain to the drain pipe. The old one has a flimsy paper type gasket, what did you use?
