Official 330/350 (2008 and newer) Thread

Update - I replaced the aerator, which is what screws onto the faucet (washer within the aerator). It now allows a much better flow of water, but still a nasty little drip.
I don't have that problem yet, but I wonder if it is a problem with a washer within the valve. I have not needed to take apart a boat faucet, but a home faucet has washers and o-rings within the valve assembly that can go bad. Yours may be defective or not installed correctly.

Does anyone know where the TV cable splitter is. Sea Ray told me it would be behind the MDP in the cabin or near one of the TV's but I cannot find it. I found the cables loose on the amp. and antenna so I believe they may also be loose on the splitter which is why I'm getting picture interference. Thanks

Ahhh...Happy to save you the misery I went through removing damn near everything from mid cabin back two weeks ago. The TV cable splitter is behind the main power panel (the one in the cabinet will all the AC and DC switches). Remove the screws and carefully pull out the panel (which is backed with an offset plexiglass protector panel on the back) and you will see the splitter up behind. Of course...turn off all the power before you venture in there. I had severe picture interference, which I was able to cure by removing the cable connectors at the splitter, cleaning up the coax a bit, and reinstalling.

I took off the panel once but could not see it. I will look again (maybe hidden behind all the wires and stuff). Thanks

I removed MDP again and no cable splitter. I guess on my boat the installer decided to really hide it!

Wow, sorry to hear it. I would have thought they would be in the same place. Have you tried cleaning up the connectors at the Glomex control in case the problem is there? My install does not have a power inverter and I understand some of them do...maybe the installer put the splitter near the inverter (which should be in the mid cabin berth cabinet area)?

Already did the Glomex and the antenna which were all loose. I will keep looking for the splitter. It may be behind one of the TV's.

Ok, I just checked my fill caps and they are correct. The back stern cap is starboard and the front cap is port. The hoses from them go to the correct tanks. Not sure about gauges reading correctly. Will need to wait until next time I fill up.

Just filled up and starboard gauge reads starboard tank and port to port so my fill caps, gauges and tanks are all matched correctly. I did notice though that my gauges read about 7 gals. too high at the 1/2 full point on the gauge so they are not very linear at this point on the gauge. Perhaps at empty they are more accurate.

My port side fills are mis-labeled. The front cap is labeled SB, and the back cap is labeled Port; but according to the manual, the lines for the front cap go to the starboard tank. The starboard fills appear to be labeled correctly.

Had the same issue...it took me two months to finally figure it out. Keep think the generator was really drinking gas.

I recall mine consumes one gallon every 10 minutes according to the manual. I don't have it in front of me right now. I recall the first time I learned that thinking it was about 5x the consumption I expected.

6 gallons an hour???? That's also far more than I had thought. Maybe that explains why my boat lists on the port side by 2-3 inches. Does anyone elses?

I don't have a list, even when down several gallons on the starboard tank feeding the genny.

That's a relief. By the way, what do you all have for ratio of hours on your engines versus genny? Mine is 110/30.

This is my first season and did not use the gen. very often. I'm at 40/2

I'm thinking of installing a cockpit tv/dvd. Has anyone installed one? I'm wondering what I should buy, marine or home grade, do I need AC and DC power, what about a bracket, and then wiring, is the receptacle in the arch pre-wired with a coax cable and power cord?

The only 110V power tap on my boat in the cockpit area is below the sink or at the helm. I looked into the arch and I do not see any coax except the one running from the antenna down the arch by the helm and down into the cabin. I wanted to install a mid cabin TV and found the 110V outlet behind the AC intake vent but no coax there either. I have not found the splitter that Sea Ray says is near the cabin TV. It must be hidden somewhere. I suppose you could use a standard LCD TV in the cockpit if you can get the wiring routed correctly

Hi Art.

you should be able to go automotive pretty easy. What size are you looking to go with? Great looking 33 BTW. I'd love to see some more pics of it if you post them anywhere on the net. Its exactly what I'm looking for. How does she go with the big blocks?
