Official 320 Dancer Thread

Does anybody know what type pump the 320 needs for the autopilot?
I got the type 1 pump as a gift along with the Raymarine ACU 150 autopilot package.
I just want to make sure that’s the correct one while I can still return it.

thanks.
Mine took the ACU 200 controller with the Raymarine type 1 12v pump.

I’m leaking coolant for my port engine. Seems to be some coolant around back of the waste tank and water manifold/heater box. It’s collecting in the port side bilge, but seems to be originating from somewhere up long the port side behind the tank and water manifold box. Any theories on where it may be leaking? It’s incredibly tight in the engine room so I’m hoping for a little guidance before I go searching around in there. Thanks!

Had this problem in previous boat. Answer was to simply tighten all the hose clamps on the cooling hoses. Because of vibration they loosen over time. Hope your problem is this simple (and cheap).

2006 320 DA - I am still trying to fix my starboard fuel sender. I have followed directions on here and looked at youtube. When I remove the positive wire and touch it to ground, nothing happens - it is supposed to move the fuel gauge up and down when doing so. Also, I removed the fuel sender and did a quick inspection and it looked to be in very good working condition. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, waxed my blue hull this weekend using Meguire's flagship premium marine wax (32 oz bottle was $23 on amazon vs $48 at west marine) and it now it reflects like a mirror! Applied by hand, quick buff with orbital with wool buff pad and wiped the remainder off with micro fiber towel. I really thought I was going to have to have it professionally buffed then waxed which was going to be over $1000. Very pleased with the results and the wax.

My steps entering the cabin have turned a pinkish color. I cannot figure out how to remove them to recover. I removed the 4 larger screws and the smaller ones that attached the carpet trim ring with no luck. Did Sea Ray also glue the steps to the metal support frame? Please help!

I am having new steps made so I just happen to have the bottom step pulled. My steps, at least the bottom one, are held on by 5 screws going through the metal frame into the step. No glue.20200120_090309.jpg

New to me 320 - doing a complete renovation
Pulled the seats throughout to be completely redone -
This is what it looks like with the seats out - step two is all new lighting, GPS, Audio, Video, Vessel View - Going to be a lot easier with the boat gutted like this - but super happy that Step 3 is detailing - cause removing the seats revealed that this boat is in desperate need.
Can't wait to see the outcome...the new seats and it fully clean - gonna be brand new and clean down to the bones with all new tech, audio, video, lighting interior and exterior, fridges, all new interior with diamond stitching and a fresh bottom paint and having the props retuned for a fresh new ride - good to go and so excited for boating season to start.

Did you ever finish the upgrades/reupholstry?

Did you finish the upgrades? Post new pics!

What kind of steps are you having made? Wood? Something else?
I'm going to do something with solid wood, stained. Router out some grip lines.
Main reason for the change is that my head door hits the bottom step too soon, not allowing the door to open as much as I would like. Not a big guy but I'd like a little more shoulder room without feeling I have to shimmy.

Need Info on Arch Speakers:
I have a 6.5" speaker and a separate 2" tweeter speaker on each side of the arch. I would like to replace them with a single speaker that has tweeter and woofer combined. Has anyone done this and if so, how did you wire the woofer/tweeter combo speaker, and what did you do with the other tweeter wires?

Finally pulled the trigger on my two new refrigerators for the boat. I got the Norcold NR740SS for the cockpit and the Norcold NR751SS for the cabin. With buying two at the same time I was able to negotiate almost $300.00 off of the discount price. Paid $120.00 truck frt to have them delivered to my boat shop. Paid about $100.00 each for Stainless but I think it will be a nice looking upgrade.

Yes, one night on that "matress" (if you can even call it that) and we knew we needed to get a memory foam one.

We already have just need to take it out to the boat tomorrow and cut it so it is the right shape.
What size memory foam mattress did you get, Queen/King?
Wife and I agree, original mattress is too hard!

Queen. I used the current mattress to outline (used a sharpie) and a sharp utility knife to cut through the memory foam to cut to size

If you buy a thicker memory foam mattress (I recommend a 4") it can be difficult to cut with a utility knife. Using an electric carving knife makes it much easier as the knife has a much larger cutting surface, and the moving blades do all the work.

Agreed! Electric carving knife would be much easier
