I like that idea...Where did you find it? And...my prior boat had a 3" mattress topper and would slide down..every 2 or three nights would have to reposition it up. Does this stay put?
I just bought a new to me 2005 320. First of all, learning to drive the v-drives was not as difficult as I thought it would be. Watched several videos on YouTube and went out one day with my sales guy. He had me dock it every which way and I’ve been on my own since then. Practice, practice, practice. The thruster,
I’m sure, will only make it easier. Second, I put in the 4” Serta mattress topper from Sam’s Club and it doesn't seem to move around at all. Enjoy!!!

Thanks JL. Did you have to trim the topper?
Yes I did. Used an electric bread knife as was recommended on CSR and it was like a hot knife through butter. Have slept on it a few times now and can’t believe how nice it is. The foam on that topper seems to grip the old mattress really well. That, and tucking in the bottom sheet as best you can seemed to keep it in place. $150 for the queen size at Sam’s.

I had it made by yachtbedding.com. its not a topper it's an extra few inches added to the top length of the mattress. Bumps out even with the rail.

So it's officially mine now. My wife likes to bring a couple of things on a hanger. It looks like the closet isn't set up all that well for hanging items. I'm trying to figure out a good spot to hang clothes. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Pictures or it didn't happen!

two questions on the sound system - how did you access the back of the head unit and also how do you get the speaker covers off (standard clarion) out in the cockpit?

Need to remove the switch panel and water level gauge in the middle of the control panel.
Rotate the speaker grills then pull.

Anyone out there have issues with their porthole windows/gaskets leaking? I wash the boat pretty frequently and water leaks in between the glass and the gasket. I tried tightening down the screws but no help. I called Taylor Made and they said there is a part number on the gasket that I need to find (which I cannot). Sorry for all the messages but trying to remedy the few issues I have on my (new-to-me) 2006 320 DA. Thanks.

Clean the gasket with some spray cleaner and then apply some syl-glyed with your finger. Gasket will plump up and seal better.
Worked on all my leaking ports.

Once again - thanks for all the great tips!! Ordered via amazon and will be here tomorrow. SHE will be very happy that she doesn't have to put towels under all the porthole windows while I was the boat....

No problem. I let mine sit for about an hour with the ports open before closing. Do the front windshield vent and bow hatch too.

Dilectric grease is about the same...In fact in WalMart Aqufor is also the same....Basically Vaseline without the petroleum. Used it on my Corvette seals often.

I hold a little plastic bowl under it when I change the zinc, but you will only get a small amount of salt water when you remove the zinc. Also, put some Permatex high performance thread sealant on the threads when you install the new zinc.

I am new here and just saw this posting. There are zincs in the engine bay on my 06 320 DA? I had a 280 DA before and never changed a zinc in there. But now I am on Salt Water and so I need to stay on top of any zincs. Thanks!

Thanks again for all the tips. Got all the window gaskets treated. Changed waste tank vent filter. Didn't get to stereo, though. When I pulled panel off the Clarion CD player is right in the way of stereo access and I didn't have time to take that out. Pic below of her all buttoned up and ready for next weekend.

anyone purchase a teak floor insert for their bathroom/head? I have seen them on Great Lakes Skipper for other models but haven't found one for the 320. UPDATE: FOUND ONE! www.globalshipwrights.com. He has a template for 2003-2007 320DA and can make one. Also, gives us a 10% discount for being a CSR member.
