Okay, I watched the video. The bolt on top of the generator I recall seeing, but it did not look to be the same size as the replacement I have, so I was skeptical. Either I have the wrong part, or the new one is the same thread size but the bolt on top is smaller. I was also extremely confused by the instructions (in the manual, not the video). Manual said, “remove the anticorrosion zinc plug from the heat exchanger, and drain the coolant into a suitable container.” In the video, and on mine, that bolt is at the top of the heat exchanger, I would not expect any liquid to jump out, and I definitely would only expect salt water to be in contact with the zinc, not sure why the zinc would be touching coolant?Google “Koehler heat exchanger zinc anode” and the first or second result should be a thread on this site about how to replace.
